It was a Sunday and my family decided to eat out for lunch after mass. Usually if we're going to have a Sundate lunch, we'll just go to Powerplant Mall since it's very near our place (it's where we hear mass too). But my Mom decided that at least once a month, we'll go to Santuario de San Jose in Greenhills since it was where we originally heard mass weekly as a family when my Dad was still with us. Also, in the months before he passed, it's where my Daddy often go to everyday to pray.
So after mass in Santuario, we all squeezed ourselves in Greenhills Shopping Mall thinking of where to eat. It was then that we decided to go for Chinese and landed ourselves in MANN HANN!
MANN HANN is located where our favorite Sun Moon Chinese restaurant used to be.They have renovated the place and it was so far from the Binondo look of its former tenant. He he he he he!
It was a good thing that we were at MANN HANN early because the lines where very long after we got a table.
ROLL CALL!
Master Mati and Johans!
Dear Johans was staying over for the weekend.
Me and my bunsoy Andrei!
I was wearing my night time glasses because I was going to get some contact lenses after lunch.
Kuya Jon and Mommy!
Anthony and Ate Jit!
If you're looking for the Chinese Dimpol, he's in Quezon province attending to something.
Ordering up!
MANN HANN menu 1...
MANN HANN menu 2...
MANN HANN menu 3...
First on the table was a big bowl of MANN HANN Chicken and Corn Soup (P350.00)!
It was the usual thick and starchy soup that you get in Chinese restaurants. Except this one the flavors of corn and chicken meat are spot on!
For our mains, we started off with 2 orders of the MANN HANN Beef with Brocolli in Oyster Sauce (P355.00)!
You could never really go wrong with Beef with Brocolli that's why it's a usual order for us in Chinese restaurants as well. We got 2 of this and it was wiped out in a second.
We also had some MANN HANN Spicy Squid (P340.00)!
And MANN HANN Sweet and Spicy Pork (P340.00)!
Crunch on the outside and juicy on the inside. So good with the malinamnam sauce.
We also had some MANN HANN Seafood Chami (P365.00)!
MANN HANN Roast Chicken (P340.00)!
But my favorite in MANN HANN would always be their Oyster Cake (P340.00). My Daddy always ordered this before and it still tasted as scrumptious now!
MANN HANN Yang Chow Fried Rice (P365.00)!
This looks a bit different from the Yang Chow rice I'm used to (it doesn't have peas?) but it was still darn good!
In MANN HANN though our favorite is the Salted Fish Fried Rice (P365.00)!
I think this is the resto that first gave us a taste of this carb delicacy (he he he he he) in their San Juan branch. We love how the rice is full of veggies, egg, and the appetizing salted fish flakes that make it a complete meal na.
See why we were confused with the Yang Chow fried rice? The difference daw was the strips of ham. I think that's the only difference. Ha ha ha ha ha!
_____JAZ FOODIES with the family in MANN HANN!
Notice how the bunsoy boy doesn't want to have his picture taken? Invisible daw siya.
Attaccccck!!!
FOR NARNIAAAAAA!
MY PLATE! My MANN HANN plate!
The MANN HANN bill!
The food in MANN HANN is still as delicious as I remembered it to be. Would love to go back here again and feast on our usual comfort Chinese food!

In MANN HANN they don't charge you for service but they do ask to hit on the bill if you're happy with how you were served.
Yep! Besides the sarap to the bones food, the staffmembers were so accommodating.
