PEKING GARDEN AGAIN!!

Just in case you plan to eavesdrop in my conversations with Manong Fred and Best GalPal Mariane (because you have nothing more pathetic to do)  you would soon see a pattern in it...

"You're going to treat for your bday? Let's do PEKING DUCK!"
"It's Friday!!!! Treat us to PEKING DUCK!"
"Nang-indyan ka sa gimik? TREAT US TO PEKING DUCK!!!!"
"Awwww... You have a wart? TREAT US TO PEKING DUCK!!!"

The PEKING DUCK at PEKING GARDEN is such a delicacy for us four that it has already invaded all senses of our consciousness. It's like EVERYTHING has to be about PEKING DUCK and we won't shut up about it until this deep craving has been answered. The last time we all had it was during Manong Fred's birthday dinner for his Mom, and life was not the same ever since.

Finally when Manong Fred was deciding where to have BGP Mariane's surprise birthday party, PEKING GARDEN'S name came up. It should really be a natural choice since it IS my dear friend's favorite and therefore so perfect for her 40th birthday dinner. Besides being excited for my best gal pal's special day, we were all ecstatic that we are going to have a night with our favorite PEKING DUCK.

Ah yes. And life is beautiful again.

And crispy...
And fatty...
And meaty...
And juicy....
And just perfect.

Oh PEKING DUCK! Why can't we quit you????

PEKING GARDEN

Sometime last March, 2016, Manong Fred invited THE YAPPY BUNCH for dinner at PEKING GARDEN to celebrate his Mom's 80th birthday.

Even though Manong Fred could be SO annoying...
Even though he makes MY life miserable....
Even though he would ALWAYS get between me and Best Gal Pal Marian....

I love his Mom, AND Peking Duck, so that means WE'RE GOING.

Yup! Sometimes you just HAVE to make sacrifices for the things you love AND crave for.

PEKING (LUCENA RESTAURANT)

For ALL SOUL'S DAY, we went home to Lucena, Quezon Province to be with my husband's family. Besides spending the weekend in his beloved hometown, it also gave him a chance to play basketball with his mates from High School.

After one game, we were deciding on a place to eat and my husband suggested we try out PEKING, which, they say, serves the best chami (noodles) in town. I was wondering why, after about 14 years of going out, I just heard about this PEKING. We would usually go to Cafe Antigua (SEE HERE), Hacienda Inn (soon), or Buddies (HERE!!!) so it was really a surprise for me that the we have not had a taste of that famous chami yet. My husband then explained, that it was because the restaurant was finally renovated and sanitized (he he he) so now we will be able to enjoy their famed chami, worry-free!

Uh yeah like a little thing like THAT would stop me. He he he!
