DISNEY EXPLORER'S LODGE BUFFET BREAKFAST (2017)

THE YAPPY BUNCH had a staycation in DISNEY EXPLORER'S LODGE, and included in our room package is a buffet breakfast for 2 in their restaurant, DRAGON WIND.

Of course, we cannot just have breakfast by our lonesome. The little lords SHOULD be with us! So for that morning, it's going to be ERICJAZ FOODIES with the boys. Yay!

We were all looking forward for the breakfast buffet because one: we were hungry, and two: the little lords wanted to see some DISNEY characters! And, DISNEY being DISNEY we had a delicious hot meal, plus a side of Mickey. It was no surprise though because after all, it IS the place where dreams come true!

Yup! No matter how mababaw it is! He he he!

Our DISNEY EXPLORER'S LODGE breakfast!

Breakfast that morning will be in DRAGON WIND and since the room package we got only included 2 adults, we got additional buffet breakfasts for the boys. They required an advance during check-in because they cannot assure if there will be slots and the rates might be different. They also asked for the time that we preferred to have breakfast.

We got the later slot because, we're lazy to wake up. Tee hee!

DRAGON WIND restaurant!

The place was huge and very spacious!

I wonder if they allow some areas for private functions?

Our table was near the buffet spread (because we were special... ha ha ha!) At least we don't have to go for miles to get some food.

One of the great things with DISNEY character breakfasts is that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, etc go around the place and really make sure that you have a picture with them. They'll go pa to your table!!

At least we wouldn't have to line up and waste theme park time in DISNEYLAND!

Now it's time to get our grub!

I miss the boys being babies but the great thing  now that they are older is that they could just go by themselves and pick what they want from the buffet line.

Yun lang I have to check on Andrei because if he had his way, he'll only get 1 itty piece of pancake.

HUY!

:)

Appetizer station!

Crackers and assorted spreads.

Salad Station!

The selection was not much but as long as they have ranch, caesar's, or bleu cheese dressing, then I'm fine!!!!

The cold meats were better though.

It was even arranged ala beautiful bouquets!

Loved the smoked salmon with onions.

Egg Station!

Hmmmm... I wonder what the egg station serves?

Breakfast goodies station!

Hash browns.

Burger Steak.

Bangers.

Chef's Special Pork.

On the right is braised salmon!

Vegetable Curry!

Pork and Beans plus curried mash.

The breakfast buffet also had Sweet Ham!!!

This was nice, meaty, and juicy.

Chinese Station!!!!

Chinese Pastries and dimsum were served in drawers. He he he he!

Buchi!

Pork Dimsum!

Chinese Spring Roll!

Steamed Rice Flour Rolls!

These big baskets were so popular among the guests.

When I removed the cover, I saw these different rice in claypots all heating up.

As usual, monkey see and monkey do, I got one!

There was also a congee and noodle station!

Master Mati had already fill his plate and went for the drinks station.

Loved their Milk Tea container!

Coffee or Tea anyone?

Fresh juices galore.

Desserts Station!

They have lots of fresh fruits and healthy yoghurt.

Berries!!!

Don't worry they have pastries too.

Buttery rolls.

Muffins shaped like Mickey but you can't tell na. He he he he!

Breads, donut holes, and sauces!

DRAGON WIND had a special buffet table for the kiddies.

The little ones have their own special trays. Cute!!!

Ooooh! Our favorite Mickey waffles!

Kiddies were also expected to eat vegetables and eggs besides their usual cereals.

Fresh milk was served at their own special counter too.

Somebody was already starting.

It's okay. As long as you're eating, we're happy!

Check out my bunsoy's smile.

He had a full plate of his favorite Mickey waffles and donut holes!

The Yappy Bunch are here!

ROLL CALL!

Daddy and Bruce Lee Jr!

Me and Master Mati!

LET'S EAT!!!

My first plate... Yep. I don't have any coordination at all. He he he he he....

I also had some congee!

My dessert plate!

Crispy Bacon for the win!

Dimsum was so yum too!

The Chinese Dimpol was on a diet and had a lot of fresh fruits.

He got a bowl of clear soup with veggies and balls!

Since it was his vacation also, I let Mati have a smidgen of coffee from my cup. He he he he he!

I hope I don't regret that after.

And while we were eating, different DISNEY characters dropped by to say hi!!!!

The first one who came was Minnie Mouse!

The little lords were actually waiting for Mickey Mouse but they were fine with her. They just don't like girls. He he he he!

I was so happy when Donald Duck came!!!

He was my super favorite!!! I loved him since I was a kid.

I asked him to join me for breakfast. He he he he.

And finally Mickey came!

Yayyyy!!!!

We really requested for a LOT of pictures with Mickey. Ha ha ha ha!

Dabbing with Mickey!!!!!!

In DISNEYLAND, they'll give you these stubs to view the pictures the resort photographers take. I'm glad though that even if they have official photos, they're still so gracious to take pictures using your own gadgets.

Almost done...

Done!

We left just in time before the lunch buffet started.

That was really a great breakfast for us in DISNEY EXPLORER'S LODGE. The food was good but the experience became more memorable with the visits from Mickey, Donald, and Minnie. I know they may just be characters, but they all really bought out the smiles in us.

DISNEY and friends rule!!!

Take THAT Avengers.

He he he he he.

SO.

THERE.
