DENNY'S AGAIN!!!

Though it was a sunny Saturday, mornings are still chilly that it's hard to tear myself from the bed.

But of course, the promise of delicious food with THE YAPPY BUNCH is enough to make me forget the comforts of my soft cold bed and go up and at 'em!!!

And what instantly got me alive, alert, awake, and enthusiastic???

LUNCH AT DENNY'S!!!

YEAAAAH!!!

THE YAPPY BUNCH are out for another Saturday family day!

And since they were not with us during the launch, we thought of treating our little lords to DENNY'S!

I've heard of horrific lines for diners after DENNY'S opened. Good thing that for our early lunch, we were only 3rd in line!

You might have noticed that we had an extra boy with us, Josh, one of Master Mati's best friends from school, joined us for that Saturday!

After about 10 minutes, we're seated!!!!

Ordering up!

Excited for our DENNY'S lunch!

ROLL CALL!

Mati and Josh!

Chip, Beauty, and THE DIMPLED BEAST!!!

OMAYGAD, DID YOU SEE THE NEW TRAILER???? I immediately wept like a baby!

The boys craved for some Oreo Milkshake (P205.00) and agreed to share! In DENNY'S US, they would give you the extra milkshake from the blender so really, it was enough for 2 kiddies. They did it during the launch. I'm just not sure here if it's something they'll continue in Manila!

For Josh and Andrei, they wanted some DENNY'S Fried Chicken Platter (P295.00).

Andrei and Josh loved the crispy fried skin and the fries. You may have to double check though because after my bunsoy tore out a piece of the meat, it was still bloody inside. The same happened with Josh's drumstick. DENNY'S was very graceful after their apology and gave us a fresh batch of fried chicken!

Since we're craving for some meat, the Chinese Dimpol ordered the Pork Chop with Egg Platter (P295.00)!

The pork chop may look dry but trust me it's not. It was actually very tasty with smokey flavors and it went very well with the thick gravy and garlic rice! YUM!

Master Mati loved seafood so it's no wonder that he ordered the Cajun Shrimp Skiller (P375.00)!

The shrimp was served sizzling and the cream cajun sauce was something we'd like all over our rice, our fries, our bread, OURSELVES! He he he he he he! However, my boy resolved to have the salsa on the side next time.

I loved the pancakes during the launch so I made sure to get the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancake Platter (P395.00)!

The bacon was crispy, the fries hot and addicting, but the winner in this platter is definitely the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pancakes!!! The chocolate fudge and peanut butter definitely goes so well together on top of the moist and piping hot pancakes! Give it a dollop of the maple syrup and you'll definitely be in pancake heaven!

YOWZA!

And as usual, I got the DENNY'S House Salad (P75.00) to have some veggies in my system!

Awrayt!!!! This is food that is CERTAINLY getting up for!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the little lords and dear Josh in DENNY'S!!!

Grooowllll...

The moment these two buds got together (from our house, to the drive to DENNY'S, while eating at DENNY'S), they didn't stop talking!!!!

They were talking mostly about video games and Marvel movies.

Mati and Josh have been friends since Grade 2 (they're now Grade 7). Hopefully it will still be a long time before they talk about girls or what they read in naughty magazines.

PLEASE LANG.

While the two were chatting, Andrei was doing something really gross with his food. He added maple syrup on his chicken and rice!!!

Eeeew for me. But he loved it!

And we're DONE!!!!

Our DENNY'S bill!

DENNY'S is fast becoming our new favorite (well certainly mine anyway) because the food is delicious and those pancakes are just awesome!

Would love to go back again with the boys and pig out a whole lotta more!

After DENNY'S we went to UPTOWN MALL to shop around and do groceries.

WACKY!!!!

Back home, the best friends watched GHOSTBUSTERS and played a bit of PS3!!!

What an awesome day!! And we were all fueled up deliciously by DENNY'S!!!
