PAWIKAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL - ANVAYA COVE

Our staycation in ANVAYA COVE was coming to an end and even though THE YAPPY BUNCH would like to stay longer, we feel that we were able to make the most out of our family weekend in the resort.

Still, we cannot leave without one last "hurrah" with the gang. With that, we had our late lunch together with our BP (Bawal Panget) family in ANVAYA COVE!

PAWIKAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL!

There was a bit of a walk going to the PAWIKAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL. But our little ones didn't mind because it gave them more chance to play with their fellow kiddies!

And we're here!!!!!

PAWIKAN is located at the beach front of ANVAYA COVE but it is at the other side of the resort.

Me thinks the reason they were named as such is because they have a Pawikan sanctuary nearby. They have a special area for the Philippine Turtles who visit the place once a year to lay their eggs.

ROLL CALL!

Pareng Jonahs and Aning!

Mareng Gail, Sky, and pareng Jun!

Abel and Chel!

Me, the Chinese Panget, and my hidden kili kili... he he he he he he!

And here's the kiddie table...

Tiana and Dani!

For the kiddie table there's Johans and Master Mati!

Plus Jelo, Sasha, and the Bunsoy Andrei!

Time to order!

AY ANG LAKI NG BRASO KO GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....

PAWIKAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL gave us some complimentary kropek.

Yummm!

Kropek pa lang... Sulit na! Ha ha ha ha!

The simple set up for the utensils....

YOHOOO! Food is here!!!!

I don't know why but when on a beach resort, I always get a craving for barbecued entrees!

I think the sand and salt water activates the section of our brain to crave for grilled meats. He he he he he!

Good thing my brain is smart (?????) to activate THAT and not the need to diet.

OR something weird moon someone. Ha ha ha ha ha!

Master Mati said that he'll have the Half Barbecued Chicken (P315.00)! It came with buttered vegetables and a cup of garlic rice.

At first the Yub and I were worried that he won't be able to finish it but he insisted he can.

Hmmm... Let's see ha!

We also got their Grilled Liempo (P285.00)!

The liempo was juicy, tender, and was grilled in a sweet, appetizing barbecue sauce.

It was also served with some steamed greens with bagoong! Yummers!

The bunsoy didn't share our love for barbecued meats in ANVAYA and instead ordered his usual Carbonara (P275.00)!

As much as I want to impose that he should eat rice, he usually scrapes his plate clean whenever it's carbonara.

So ayun!

Since were on vacation, we thought of living it up a little and order more carbs!

This Pancit Guisado (P185.00) certainly hit the spot. Ang sarap niya!

Saucy and super flavorful! Bagay iulam sa kanin!

As for the others, they also ordered the following....

Bagnet with Pakbet!

Kare Kare!

Sizzling Bulalo!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the BP Group oldies!

DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our bill!!!!!

Fun dinner with the gang at PAWIKAN BEACH BAR AND GRILL!

Of course, one cannot go wrong with delicious food and with the great gang of guys I have here!

SO.

THERE.

  2. Hi. Nah what i meant was, the food is not “photogenic”. Kaw naman u make tampo tampo na to me lol . But at least you guys enjoyed the food. (Sometimes there are food that looks nyeh, but when you taste it, surprisingly flavors burst on your palate). Btw, the BDM looks fine. That’s normal. Hehehe. Going back... I think bataan beaches are amazing. Nature trip talaga with the pawikan and all. In fact, my family and I witnessed a turtle laying her eggs on the beach. It’s like watching natgeo 4D . You could see the turtle on a deep trance, digging and burying her eggs on the beach front. Then when the pawikan leaves, the aetas would put small bamboo sticks to surround the area where the eggs are incubated. Then nature will take its place...
The beaches there is really a nesting place for those pawikans. The places there are considered as nature reserve and wildlife protected. Great place. Would love to come back to morong and borong Bataan one of these days. Anyways, where’s the next adventure Dorothy? šŸ‘ šŸ‘

    1. Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Hiya Speedster!!!

Ay no! I didn't make tampo! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! I know my picture taking skills are not at par with my other KTG friends kaya tuloy hala when you pointed it out, I got so guilty for PAWIKAN BAR AND GRILL baka magalit sila. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!! Naks you're like a kolehiyala with your taglish taglish ah!!!!!

Ha ha ha ha ha! My brazo is not fine and normal. IT'S BIGGGGG!!! When I wear my old blouses, I feel like I'm the hulk about to rawr with the ripping sleeves. Ha ha ha ha! Youre too nice. Don't worry, I could handle the truth na. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Wow really??? When was this? The kids and I were looking for Pawikan eggs but I don't thnk it was the season for it. You're so lucky! I have only seen it on documentaries. That's nice of the Aetas. I always have respect for people who love not just their fellow men but show care to nature and animals as well. It's like extending the graces God has blessed them with.

I wonder if its only ANVAYA where they have Pawikan sanctuaries? I would really love to check one out but I don't frequent Bataan. He he he he he he! Would be happy for you if you get to see one again with your family!

Happened already or not? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Our Baguio series coming up next doing the same old thing. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

      Take care! Cheers!

  3. Nah, your words depicted naman and gave justice to the food. Would rather eat from an honest opinion than a deceiving picture..Hehehe.
Kolehiyala expressons? Just learned that from you when u make tusok tusok the fish balls eh... hahaha.
Anyways, I believe we were at camaya beach resort in morong when we saw that pawikan on the beach front laying eggs.. around April or May I guess. You should try to bring your fambam there. They even have an ocean adventure park with dolphin shows and the works. You could even get a chance to interact with the dolphins.
Hmmm... Baguio? Awesome. Keep on clicking those ruby shoes Dorothy. šŸ‘šŸ¼ Have fun!

Okay. Thanks for the tip! Will tell the Chinese Dimpol. That will be a different adventure for the kiddies.

Thanks!!!!! Ruby flat shoes! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Take care and have fun this week too!
