YUP!!!
For others naman they're here for more than 30 years. As for me, it's already been a decade.
If you're wondering why, it's because we have THE BEST PRESIDENT ever and we all love our jobs. Everyone here believes in EAT BULAGA that we are all so loyal to the show.
ANYWAY....
The TITAS of TAPE (as we have fondly called ourselves) went out for lunch one time because a former officemate, Ms. Oying, is visiting from the US. Mam Leslie said it'll be her treat and invited us all to join them.
The place they chose for that lunch was a restaurant called NINYO. I thought at first that it's like Gerry's or Gilligan's type of restaurant where diners could down beer along with their sisig. "Okay" I thought. At least I'll have some of my favorite sisig with garlic rice......
OH WAS I WRONG!!!

NINYO FUSION CUISINE was so near our office but far from the lines of popular fast food restaurants. You might even miss it because the lot looked like a residence filled with trees.
Even the entrance seems like a private home too!

While walking towards the entrance I DEFINITELY got a feeling that this is not our usual Filipino restaurant.

I don't normally put butter on my bread (for dietary reasons ek ek) but I made today an exception.

NINYO FUSION Scallop Tempura with Harissa Mayo and Greens (P350.00)!
At first we thought this appetizer was MEH.... But OMG it was sooo good!!! The greens were tossed in a nutty vinaigrette which complemented the rich bites of tempura with mayo.

NINYO FUSION Orzo Salad with Laguna Ricotta (P400.00)!
NINYO FUSION with Caesar's Salad with Chicken Teriyaki and Poached Egg (P400.00)!!
You could NEVER go wrong with Caesar's Salad! It's also my favorite.
After the first course, we were given a lime sorbet to cleanse our palate.
NOW ON TO THE MAIN MEALS!!!!
Tita Grace was not feeling the main menu and just got Beef Salpicao (P480.00) from the kids selection.
This was actually quite good!!!! Loved the appetizing garlic and butter flavors that makes this dish SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO perfect with rice!
Ms. Oying got the NINYO FUSION Grilled Tiger Prawns with Crab Fat Paella (P870.00)!
This order was good for 2. Got a taste of the Paella and it had that rich aligue taste. I could have just THAT and be happy.
Mam Les got the NINYO FUSION Honey Marinated Salmon with Miso served with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes (P590.00)!
Tita Florie and I each got the NINYO FUSION Grilled Hanging Tender Steak with Farm Vegetables and Pumpkin Rosino (P650.00)!
I didn't feel like getting the pumpkin rosino and requested for the Mashed Potatoes instead.
The beef was quite tender and had the perfect doneness. However, as much as I was fine with the Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, it's not for everyone. You may want to request for something else to go with your steak.
I scraped this clean in NO TIME!!!

Since there were many of us celebrating their birthdays this February and March, Mam Leslie arranged for a mini-surprise!!!!

Enjoyed our quick lunch very much (obvious ba sa OA ng chest-out ko??) because besides the food, it was great hearing the different stories of these ladies who've been with the company for sooooo long.
The dishes and the whole experience was quite something too! I hope to bring the little lords and the Yub here soon!
They even have this Love Locks area similar to what they have in Paris: You write the name of your amore and fasten it here to symbolize your commitment.
Hmmmm... I wonder if they'll accept double locks??? He he he he he!!!
