ERICJAZ FOODIES was recently invited by DIAMOND HOTEL to experience their UNLIMITED seafood every Friday night.
UNLIMITED seafood? Is that even possible??
APPARENTLY with DIAMOND HOTEL, it is! And I'm not talking about the usual meh shrimps or mussels here. You'll actually be faced with bushels (YES BUSHELS) of the special seafood that you'll probably serve to your VIPs(ha ha ha ha) like rock lobsters, mud crabs, blue crabs, alupihan dagat, garoupa, etc. etc.
Every Fridays for dinner, the CORNICHE restaurant of DIAMOND HOTEL is featuring SEAFOOD ALA MINUTE where for only P2,990.00 nett you could have plates upon plates of seafood cooked your way! Not only that, you could enjoy your unlimited servings of seafood with your usual favorites from DIAMOND HOTEL too (I call the sushi and roast beef!).
So gear up your appetite and get your tummy ready for this fresh from the sea battle. That's what the Yub and I did and we came out mucho victorious! BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

It was a cozy Friday night in DIAMOND HOTEL and the Yub and I were happy that we're able to arrive just in time for dinner.

According to DIAMOND HOTEL, they wanted to offer their guests that Dampa experience so popular in the Metro nowadays. But at least in CORNICHE, you'll be assured that the seafood are all fresh and safe that you'll surely be getting your money's worth, plus more!
You order from the chef or server stationed there and you just have to specify your choice of seafood, how you wanted it to be cooked and your table number.
Yep. You could go crazy and order EVERYTHING there. But of course, remember to only get what you could finish. Sayang naman!
The server would promptly get your orders and have it cooked. Don't worry, the serving is usually good for 1 person so you could try a variety of seafood without bursting your tummy.
Yehess! The usual choice for me would be crabs, lobsters, and shrimps!
CORNICHE had a center table for their fresh seafood but they also had a buffet station on the side for those who don't feel like going to the "market" and just place their orders.
Let your imagination (and tummy) go wild with the choices!

Our plates of seafood came one at a time and after about 10 to 15 minutes. I'm sure the wait time depends on the number of orders that came before us.

I was so full to function so I just had my usual coffee and favorite sweets for dessert.
Fate had other things in store for me because somebody ordered the Cheese Roti to be dipped in condensed milk and it was GLORIOUS!!!
This was not part of the buffet but is actually in their secret menu. Don't forget to order this when you're in CORNICHE!
Thank you so much DIAMOND HOTEL for having us tonight and getting us soooo bundat with your seafood buffet! It was truly worth the long drive from Quezon City.
