LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON

HAPPY 2024!!!!!!

As my first official entry to my silly little foodie blog, let me share one of our mind-blowing experiences in LONDON during our trip there last December, 2023....

LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON!!!!!!

I first encountered that magical steak in butter while in Geneva, Switzerland when we had lunch at Cafe De Paris.

I haven't forgotten it ever since. There may be the Colosseo, or the Shroud of Turin, or the luxurious casinos in Monaco.... BUT one of the memorable experiences talaga for me for that Europe trip was this steak lunch. Ha ha ha ha ha!

ANYWHO....

So while we were planning our itinerary for our London trip I really reserved a night for us in that famed LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON. Timing na timing that we will be there for Mati's birthday and yay yay he agreed to have it for our family dinner.

After a full day of going to Mati's wishes for his birthday, we're finally going to our have last stop for dinner.

WE'RE HERE!!!!

The restaurant opens at 6:00pm and we arrived at 5:30pm. After seeing the long lines at social media, I was happy that there were just about 20pax ahead of us!

Little did I know that there was a SECOND line because the owners of the area complained that they didn't like people queueing up in front of their stores!

Ha ha ha ha ha! A lot were duped by the first line too. Ha ha ha ha ha!

The kind guard though assured us that we will be able to get in for the first batch. I forgot how many but they usually let in for about 80pax to 100pax (NOT SURE).

They opened the doors right onthe dot and yep! The line got moving!!!!

Wohoo! We're near!

Well hello there!

YOHOOO! Finally front of the line!

Inside LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON had that old classic Paris feel to it.

The tables were very close together for maximum capacity of the guests but personally, I didn't felt cramped at all.

Maybe because we got a good corner table where we had more privacy.

YAY! The night is starting quite well!

Like I mentioned, there is only one order to make in LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON, and it is their Steak Set (29GBP)!!!!

We each started off with plates of bread.

I LOVED THE BREAD because it is my usual thang of crusty on the outside and soft yet chewy on te inside.

Included in the set were plates of greens and walnuts with this light Italian dressing.

YUM!!!

Of course, I also got the Yub's share. Ha ha ha ha ha!

And finally, the piece de resistence......

The LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON steak!!!!!!!

The meat were cuts of Sirloin doused in this buttery herby creamy sauce that goes oh so well with their homecooked french fries. Imagine that glorious sauce getting soaked up by the crunchy fries that when you shove those golden strips into your mouth, each bite would release that crusty and creamy goodness of the glorious things combined!

OH YUM! Talagang a party in your mouth!

But if you don't feel like having the sauce, you could request to have it on the side (like what the Yub did).

The only question the servers will ask you in the restaurant is how you'd like to have your steak...

AND the choices are only Medium Rare or Medium. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

So sorry Medium-Well and Well-done lovers.... Try nyo din you might like it!

The yub REALLY enjoyed his steak even if he's medium well guy!

We also ordered a glass of red (4.50GBP).

Because really, you CANNOT have steak without red wine!!!!!

Yummmmmmmmm....

Try also putting a bit of mustard on your steak. It's an appetizing difference.

(BUUUT it's still wasabi and salt for me... he he he he he)

REALLY enjoying everything about the meal.

The bread and fries were also so good with the steak that I didn't look for rice!

The only snag for me though was that I made the mistake of letting the server take out the salad. I could have had it with my steak. Auughhh...

Oh well... Maybe next time!

When I'm done with my steak and fries, they gave us each ANOTHER serving!!!!

LIKE WOAH!!!!

And Mati's done! Yep! With all 2 servings!

The bunso wasn't able to finish his fries. Ha ha ha ha ha! It's okay he's more of a meat eater talaga.

For dessert, the big guy requested for LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON Lemon Pie (6.95GBP)

The lady servers at LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON were so nice and sang to Mati a happy birthday!

We requested so when the big guy was in the toilet... He he he he...

Later on Andrei told me that he found the servers at LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON the nicest from all the restaurants we went to in London (he found them sooo happy the moment we arrived, while we ate, and until we left). Awwwww!

My Mati was pleasantly surprised.

Not for long though because the bunso teased him agad. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

My big guy really enjoyed this as it had a right amount of lemony tartiness!!!!

Le bill!!!!!!!!

Sooo happy with our dinner.

Of course, don't expect LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON to be the greatest because I'm sure you may have had other high quality steaks in London. Still, it was all a delicious experience and for the price, we got awesome platters of the meat plus more.

WE LOVED EVERYTHING!!!! Eh you know us -- like we always say again and again, we enjoy whatever and wherever as long as we're together. It's great in LE RELAISE DE VENISE - L'ENTRECOTE LONDON because at least here, the food and service were sooo good, that made our "together time" all the more better.
