OUR AWESOME YAPPY 2019 (PART TWO)
I have mentioned in my previous year-ender blogpost that after my Daddyowzers passed, I realized the importance of spending more time with family, friends like family, and with those people who really mattered. At my age (sa hamak na 25... he he he) I have come to terms with the idea that life is too short and we should always spend it with the people that we truly love. Before, I would consider many times "pakikisama", "duty", or "kailangan e" in my everyday decisions. But after my hero went to heaven, the person who taught us that family should ALWAYS come first, I started not to care anymore and just lived my life on my own terms (without sacrificing kindness and all things good of course).

ANDREI'S GRADUATION (2019)
My bunsoy baby recently graduated from Grade school and I cannot help but feel so emotional about it.
Emotional??? Yeah. I know you might find that weird (or over-acting) but I swear, having a son graduate from Grade School is something that would get a Mommy all choked up because it makes their transfer from babyhood to teenager all official.
My baby bunsoy is going to be in High School naaaaa!!!! Huhuhu...........

MATI'S PROM AND ANDREI'S GRAD BALL (2019)
When I gave out the news, many people were in disbelief that Master Mati will be having his Junior Prom.
"Huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? Already???"
"But he's too young!!!"
"Grade 9 na prom na agad??"
Oh I got a LOT of that believe me. Guess who's the only person who was all cool and in fact, so excited about it? Yup. You guessed it right. The Master Mati himself.
For his Junior Prom, he had an option of going solo or with a date. When I asked him, my first born was so hell-bent (as in SOBRANG DECIDED) to go to his prom with somebody.
"What about meee?" I offered. I told him that I would take pictures, get him food, put sapin on his back, and say many I love yous during the night.
My first born said he'd rather not go.
CHE!!!!!!!!!!! I know that both of us were kidding (though in my case, it was half meant... he he he) but still, you don't have to be SO mean Mati! GRRRRRR!!!
So when we were deciding who he'll go out with, I told Master Mati that it's best to go with my friend's daughter (at least somebody that I know). He knows her of course but he was more interested with the recommendation of a friend of a friend. Still, my dutiful son asked permission from my friend if he could take her daughter out. My friend gave her regrets as her daughter is not into proms daw. That was okay because that gave Master Mati the chance to take out the lady he found cute when he saw her picture.
Yay!!!
So that was done. Then out of the blue, my bunsoy told me that he too had a grad ball.
Huwaaaaaaaat? I thought. Another date? In Andrei's case however, it's okay because my Mareng Gail was more than willing to give all 3 of her daughters to Andrei. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
It turns out that with Andrei, no need for dates but his Grad Ball had a Hawaiian theme.
Noooo problem!!! He he he he! (Hay salamat!!!)
I asked if parents could come (because I wanted to take pictures). No daw. Only the parent council members are allowed to attend.
(Syempre, I'm too lazy to be part of the parent council. And I'm working. Yes. That's right. Ah... eh... I'm working. He he he!)
Then after all those minor preparations, it hit me: My sons are going to their proms na!!!! Huhuhuhu!! Yesterday, they were just chubby cheeked gurgling babies. Now they want to have their "night-outs" without their Mommy!!! I breastfed them for 6 months exclusive for crying out loud tapos they're going to leave me?????! Ganun-ganun na lang???
And THAT is why my sons don't want me to be their date. Ha ha ha ha ha! I could get a little carried away. He he he he.
Sharing with you our son's special nights for this school year (most especially Mati's). Now do you think that because parents aren't allowed, we stayed home?
OF COURSE NOT.
:P
It's MATI'S prom!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay even if the highlight of this blog post was really Mati's prom (because c'mon, it IS a prom), we would like to include Andrei's Grad Ball.
My bunsoy graduated Elementary this year and the parent council thought of having a special night also for them.

OKADA MANILA HOTEL STAYCATION (PART ONE)
Mother-in-law (or mil) treated the family to a weekend staycation in celebration of her birthday and my wedding Anniversary with the Yub in OKADA MANILA HOTEL.
To be honest at first I was like MEH. We've had our fill of staycations before that now the thought of packing up and going somewhere else to sleep in is just something that bores me. I have come to realize too that when you have a happy home, you don't need to go somewhere else to celebrate -- staying put with the family is a party enough.
Anyway, 2 rooms were booked then lo and behold, my dear sister-in-law Ivy did some magic and was able to get the Manila Bay suite for us!!!!!!
WOAH with a capital W and O! He he he he he he!!!!! Do you guys know how much the Manila Bay Suite of OKADA MANILA HOTEL is??? Check in their website to find out!!! Yep!!! Galeng ni Ivy!! With her efforts, we will be able to stay in this prime suite with the family!
So finally I looked forward to the weekend. At least this would really be a happy treat for the family.
And was it as awesome as we thought it would be?
Yep! It definitely was!!!! Especially that it was a weekend for more bonding with THE YAPPY BUNCH!
WOHOO!!!!
OKADA MANILA HOTEL!

PARADISE DYNASTY WITH THE FAMILY (2019)
It's my parents 51st wedding anniversary and though my Daddyowzers is in heaven already (huhuhu...) I still feel that we should go out and celebrate it. Of course, my Mom said she's fine at home but since THE YAPPY BUNCH came from a staycation, we should at least go out and treat my Mom in honor of her Anniversary with my Daddy (RIP).
For tonight, our choice was in PARADISE DYNASTY. Because of course, special occasions like this call for "sureball" deeeeelicious dishes!
PARADISE DYNASTY!!!!
On weekends, reservations are recommended in PARADISE DYNASTY.

OUR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS (2019)
The Yub and I recently celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary and let me say how it felt like it's only been 10 minutes....
UNDERWATER! He he he he he!
Let me share with you our many celebrations when our blessed union (BLESSED UNION DAW O!!) turned 1-6. He he he he he!!! We had so many and I'm very thankful that we were able to honor our crazy marriage in our favorite ways.
Of course, I'm more thankful that I am able to celebrate it with the person that St. Joseph felt was meant for me.
Either THAT or He was giving me this big joke.
KIDDING!
Tee hee..... :P
We're 16 years and counting!!!!!!
Oh and just in case you're wondering, we took this picture 16 years ago to greet our future selves!

GIZELLE AND HIRO'S WEDDING #lovebeGinswithoneHIRO
One year ago, my officemate Tita Grace announced that her unica hija will be getting married and she invited us all to attend.
Actually, "invited" was a very mild word because she said it in a way that if we declined, we will be REALLY sorry. As in head-for-the-hills-because-the-Terminator-will-be-coming-for-you, sorry. He he he he he! So of course I agreed (will do so naman talaga even without the non-verbal threats... he he he he), but that was BEFORE I discovered that it will be fall on my actual birthday.
HALA!!!!
Sensing my doubts, Tita Grace gave me the "Humanda ka" look. So with that, I gave my wholehearted yes agad. He he he he he he! Wala na talagang choice. Tee hee!
Duh of course I'm kidding!
Yeah, it may be my birthday but this was a once in a lifetime special event for Tita Grace and her family that I wouldn't dare miss it. Besides, one of the best ways to celebrate a birthday is to be in a room full of love, laughter, and FOOD, right??!!!
O di ba??? Instant party for me??
He he he he he he he! Check out the fun we had when we attended the wedding of lovebirds Gizelle and Hiro!!! Congratulations kiddies!!!!! Thank you so much for inviting us!

TRICK OR TREATIN AT 2017
Since 2010, THE YAPPY BUNCH have been spending our Trick or Treatin at the invitation of my mareng Heids in Valle Verde. I know that there are many more flashy activities that celebrate this Halloween tradition in malls and kiddie venues, but we want to do it the classical way -- walking around the neighborhood and knocking on houses for the treats! There's something about going for the traditional route than attending the commercialized gimmicks they have in establishments. For us, it's more fun!!! And believe me, we don't need to go to several Halloween parties. Just to have this wonderful trick or treating day with the kiddies is already more than enough for us!
The YAPPY BUNCH are going TRICK OR TREATIN!
The little lords always dressed up as their favorite characters every Halloween. Nothing against those who have a "theme" for their group but it's just that not only do we want them to have their OWN kind of fun this Halloween but also because with the long walk, they won't complain about their costumes because it's what they chose! He he he he he he!
Could you guess who we are???

ATE JOJIT'S BRIDAL SHOWER (PART TWO)
We were throwing our favorite spinster, este, sister, Ate Jojit a BRIDAL SHOWER and everything was going according to plan:
-- Guests arrived early!
-- The bride got to the venue on time!-- The bride was surprised!-- Games and Prizes were complete!-- EVERYONE was having a great time!
![]() |
Fast forward pic! |
Now what else do we need???
Other people might say, "What's a BRIDAL SHOWER without a dancer???"
But since this is MY sister's BRIDAL SHOWER, I think the important question to ask here is "What's a BRIDAL SHOWER without food??"

ATE JOJIT'S BRIDAL SHOWER (PART ONE)
I have done countless as in SUPER many surprise parties that I feel I could plan it in my sleep or while watching GAME OF THRONES. Really! I'm not exaggerating: Birthdays, Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Boyfriends just wanting to be romantic.... You name it! The great thing is I HAVEN'T done a surprise party where it wasn't successful: the celebrant would always have no idea and will get really surprised when it's party time. Plus there's always a theme and a program where he/she is the highlight of it all!
Yes, I have hosted soooo many surprise parties already that I feel it's time to hang up one's boots and retire. That is, AFTER I do one for somebody very special and totally unexpected (yep even for us)....
Ate Jojit's surprise bridal shower!!!!!
Really, Ate Jojit getting married was indeed unexpected that when I was calling her friends to invite to the shower, a lot of them we're so surprised.
"HUWAAAAAAAAAAAT??? JOJIT IS GETTING MARRIED??"
It was indeed a surprise for many not because she was (almost) a relic that we didn't thought she'd be getting married AT ALL (tee hee). But more because of they didn't have any clue about it!!!!
Their reactions were all so daunting that it seriously gave ME doubts if she really WAS getting married. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
If you're wondering why nobody knew (besides the family) it's because my sister was the anti-"share the #blessedness in Facebook" and did not make any sort of announcement. I asked her why and it's not because she didn't think her getting married was unimportant. But it was more like she didn't like it to be jinxed. So most of her close friends didn't know about the big news until I told them so (because of the surprise shower).
And when they didn't know it, I was like... "Uh-oh..." HA HA HA HA HA!
So yes, even if I'm already lazy to do surprise parties, I am so willing to "come out of retirement" for somebody so special, so loved, and SO deserving of a Bridal Shower.
My SISTER!
Oh. And it could also be payback time for those who didn't know about her engagement. He he he he he he he!
Yes seriously. That's what THEY said. Ha ha ha ha ha!

ATE JOJIT AND ANTHONY'S RICHMOND HOTEL WEDDING
I have featured many weddings in this silly little foodie blog but there is one that I have just a hard time doing --- my sister's.
Her wedding was September last year and it has been stored in my "to do" folder for so long but I haven't gotten around doing it. I don't know if it's just me procrastinating (as I would always do), or that I hated the groom so much (yep. Meanie me!), but most definitely it's just something that I haven't accepted to be a reality in my life..... well not just yet.
You see, me and my sister are really close. Yes we fight and oh we do fight a lot (would you believe my Dad let us wear boxing gloves before???) but we were always together. When I was still single (and never had a chance to mingle) we would talk for hours mostly in her room. Even when I got married, nothing changed: When I go upstairs I would call out "JIT-JO!!!" and she would answer with a meek "MIN-JAZ!!!" and that would signify another long chika session in her room. Life was good and she has already embraced a long life of being single (though I was one of her fierce defenders when stupid and petty people would keep on asking "when is your sister going to get married???). In fact, the Chinese Dimpol and I were already teasing her that in the future, we will be having a special place setting for her and Kuya Jon for Christmas or New Year's. He he he he he he he he!
But then, Anthony came along and everything suddenly changed.
At first, I was so ecstatic and kilig. My sister was getting married! YOWHOOO!!! When I saw my Mommy becoming sentimental, I told her that we should be happy for my sister because at least she will have a partner for life na, and FINALLY, we are going to get rid of her (tee hee). Later on I realized, the reason for my joy and excitement were because I was such an ignoramus. My mom however, being the smart lady that she is knew already of the lonely days to come.
You see, after getting married my sister and (yuk) husband moved out and lived in our condo somewhere in San Juan. It was fine at first but then suddenly something felt lacking. I didn't mind it, really. Being the denial Queen that I was I tried to act normal like "toodledoooo" and rejoiced that I didn't have to share the bathroom with her anymore.
However one time, while I was going upstairs with the full knowledge that I was alone there, I thought it would be fun to do my usual "habit". So I just called out "JIT-JO!!!!"
And then nobody answered.
It then hit me so hard and heavy like the big stone that would fall on Wile E. Coyote: Egad, she's not here anymore. That's when the waterworks came in. I just choked and cried and sobbed like a crazy person. I think I even looked like Al Pacino in Godfather 3. Kulang na lang mag-"walling" ako. Ha ha ha ha ha! I felt SOOO bad that I EVEN POSTED A STATUS ON FACEBOOD ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!! And believe me I HATE READING AND POSTING WHINY STUFF ON FACEBOOK!!!! BUT I DID!!!!!!!!! (The all caps signify the truth. He he he he he!)
But that's the way it is. Oh well. As much as I was happy for her, I was also selfish. We needed her. Not because she's a doctor and I get free check-ups (he he he he he) but her presence makes it all complete for me. Everything's already changing with this thing called "life" and my ate Jojit being there (along with my parents and brother) is a sentimental reminder of my happy childhood and comfort zone.
Haaaaay... Oh well.
Truth be told, I NEVER wanted to do this blog entry because I might probably be sobbing up tears and snot while doing it. But then, I have finished all of my entries and have nothing left to do. If this was in December, 2015, I would've said "Suck it! I'm sure humanity would be better off without THIS for a blog entry anyways!!!!" But then, after several days and weeks and months, I finally got used to the emptiness (in sisterhood), pain (promise ang sakit sa dibdib... I hope nakakalaki ng boobs), and absence (Sniff! Sniff!). Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy with THE YAPPY BUNCH. But it's just so different without my first team mate beside me.
I guess what really helped me to cope is discovering that my new brother-in-law Anthony was really cool. Yep I HATED HIM after the wedding. Nothing personal but I detested his role in being the husband. WHY DID YOU HAVE TO ASK MY SISTER TO MARRY YOU ANYWAY?!!!! But then, even if he was already so nice to us before, it was after the wedding that I saw his real colors. I really appreciated how he treated my family especially the respect that he gave my parents. Believe me, my achy breaky heart (he he he he) lightened up every time I saw him doing a "Mano po" to my parents as his "Hello" and "Goodbye". I know it may sound like a cliche but I suddenly found in him ANOTHER brother/sib that I could count on (sometimes more than my sister :P). And the little lords just worship him and would rejoice upon learning that he's there. For them, Tito Anthony is SO COOL.
Yup! FINALLY I'm doing this blog entry because I have already accepted it. Forgive me if my intro is ultra long but I just needed it -- I wanted to spill out all of my pathetic feelings in order to bear looking at the pictures (I'm serious. It's my first time to check it since the wedding).
So here's my sister's wedding. Yadah yadah....
Egad. I just realized: I wonder how my blogpost would be when it's Mati or Andrei's wedding??
Oh noooooo! (Walling)
It's another wedding for THE YAPPY BUNCH!
And this time, it's My sister's!!!

OUR YAPPY SUMMER 2016
I really love summer. Seriously.
Not just "Oh summer is so fun" kind of love. More like "EGAD. It's going to be 294 days till life is worth living again!!!!"
I was so obsessed with it and I'm sure that like any normal human being, you know why.
You cannot really blame us. I always maintained that I had such a happy childhood and some of the memories that I deemed super special were the ones when school was out. I remember doing a lot of things: my family would have out of town trips, we get to sleep late (but we still did chores!), we had sleepovers, we ate our favorite hot meals the whole day, and we could watch TV as much as we wanted (as long as it's after 12:00pm!!!). My parents really put in extra effort just so that my siblings and I will enjoy the "everyday is a holiday" season. But of course, I didn't just waited for my Mom and Dad all day to be able to do something. I also did things on my own: I made mixed tapes (heard of that??), I made videos (using a big camera), I drew comics, I baked pies and cookies, and I even wrote books similar to "Sweet Dreams!"
Woah... All of that seems so tiring when I read it today. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
That's why, every summer the Chinese Adonis and I make it a point to have a worthy vacation for the little lords: we would have them take classes and go on workshops (2014), or we would have staycations and family trips (2015). This year, we decided to do a little bit of both and we still had loads of fun all the same!
And like before, the Chinese Adonis and I had a LOT of "us" time during the little lords' summer vacation: we had dinner dates and gimiks on weekdays and we would watch dibidis all night long!!!!
So see? No matter how outrageous or simple that we spend it, SUMMER IS ALWAYS A BLAST for the YAPPY BUNCH. Check out how we spent it this year!
While you do THAT, I'll busy counting the days till summer of 2017!!! :)
Seriously!!!!!!!

GENKI SUSHI FOR MOTHER'S DAY (2016)
As MOTHER'S DAY approached, I was both excited and worried.
EXCITED because it will be MY day. I expected to be spoiled silly with food and whatever I friggin desire.
WORRIED because the Chinese Dimpol and Andrei were set to leave for Quezon Province (he was going to vote).
Now who will be treating me to whatever I friggin desire?????
To be honest, as MOTHER'S DAY approached I became more and more miserable. For some reason, little dramatic me was doing some serious self pitying and questioning my worth as a Mom when my bunsoy was so set to leave me on that special day.
But then I remembered: why do I have to focus on my weird self when the most lovely lady who had ever walked on the face of the earth is with us?
YEP. My Mom!
Now I don't want to get into details as to how my Mommy is the epitome of a beautiful Mother inside and out because believe me, it will take more than one post!!! Everyone agrees that she has the beauty of Boots Anson Roa and she's so mahinhin too (unlike me). She is always a principal sponsor in a wedding because couples really look up to her! Would you believe that she's a doctor but she did not continue with her practice as she chose to stay home and take care of her beautiful children (NAKS). Anyway, I choose not to enumerate any more because everyone who knows my Mom knows how awesome she is. So I don't really need to be repetitive now do I?
So don't mind about me. This MOTHER'S DAY will be for my Mommy.
But of course, we're still going to do some serious eating to celebrate!!!!!

HOUSE OF WAGYU STONE GRILL FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY
It's ERICJAZ FOODIES' 13th year of being married (blech) and we are going to celebrate with the only way we know how...
Wait. Let me correct myself, it's not the "ONLY" way we know how of course. We know that there are OTHER ways to celebrate. IF you know what I mean (wink wink!)
(Cue in Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On").
Yep. There's a party in Yub's pants, and I'M invited!
BWA HA HA HA HA HA! Cheap joke. I know.
Anyway, going back to all things PG. Yes, an ERICJAZ FOODIES anniversary would NEVER be complete without celebrating it with food. And for this special day, we went for one of our favorites...
HOUSE OF WAGYU STONE GRILL!
Wait a minute. Why does this branch call itself HOME OF WAGYU STONE GRILL?
I wonder if it's the same as the one in Podium and Eastwood? Because you know what they say, a HOUSE IS NOT A HOME??
Tee hee! Sorry. It's really asking for it.
When we got inside, we were attracted with the mounds of meat chilling in their fridge.

OUR HOLY WEEK IN CAVITE 2016 (PART TWO)
THE YAPPY BUNCH was in Maragondon, Cavite for Holy Week. And, like how my family has been doing for the past 36 years, we were fulfilling our religious tradition of setting up our "Santos" for the procession for two nights.
THE YAPPY BUNCH!
It's Friday and my family our "karo" was already finished and participated in the procession the night before. It will be rolled out again tonight along with the other "Santos" from other families.
THE YAPPY BUNCH started the morning with going to different churches, visiting a hanging bridge, then playing basketball at an empty court. It was a VERY hot day so it's only elementary that we'll be going home SO thirsty and hungry.

OUR HOLY WEEK IN CAVITE 2016 (PART ONE)
For the past 36 years, my Gatdula family has been spending Holy Week in my Dad's hometown in Maragondon, Cavite. It has already been a tradition for us that we cannot EVER be absent even if we are busy saving the world or something. The main reason we go there is because we fix up our statues of Jesus and Simon for the holy procession. I've been doing so with my family since I was 5 years old and it has already been our religious vow to do so every year.
And SOON, we're going to pass the tradition to the little lords.
For now though, it will be another family bonding for THE YAPPY BUNCH.
Yohooo!
We're going to Cavite!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were supposed to drive to Cavite on Wednesday night. But I got home late from work so it was Thursday morning travel for us.

WELCOMING THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY (CHINESE NEW YEAR 2016)
The YAPPY BUNCH raided Binondo recently to celebrate CHINESE NEW YEAR for 2016!
And this time, we are welcoming THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY!!!
We woke up early to drive out to Binondo and we were all excited and lazy.
Well, the Chinese Adonis and I were excited.
The little lords were, as usual, LAZY. He he he he he he he!
Don't fret Mati and Andrei. This is already our 5th year in doing this Chinese New Year Tradition and let me assure you that there will be MORE to come!
BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

A VERY FUN BRIDAL SHOWER!
My office mates and I recently attended a bridal shower for a special lady from work who will be getting married very soon!
TEE TO THE HEE!!!!!!
Truth be told, I was really excited because it has been a while since I last attended a bridal shower. And the great thing about being married is that you don't have to (fake) shy away from the kinky stuff that these nights would most probably give!!!!!

KTG NEW YEAR PARTY AT F1 HOTEL MANILA
For me, one of the best ways to greet the New Year is by spending it with our foodie family -- THE KAIN TULOG GANG!
I mean, there is really no doubt that when you love food, you immediately surround yourself with people having the same obsession to make sure your year starts alright. That's sort of like "food shui" to greet 2016.
See what I did there? He he he he he!
Anyway, ERICJAZ FOODIES was actually invited to KTG's Christmas party in Edsa Shangrila. However, we were not able to attend because we were in Yub's hometown in Quezon Province. It was a good thing because since there were many absentees, our KTG bossman Spanky, kindly set up another one that also included our foodie kiddies.
Yoo to the HOO!
The KTG NEW YEAR PARTY was then scheduled and our favorite F1 HOTEL MANILA generously accommodate us with a venue for that most definitely fun day. And yes, like what we had predicted, it was another great event with my favorite foodie family: there was non-stop chatter, food was overflowing, and we had a NEW YEAR'S PARTY that is surely different from how others spent it.
You might say that it was an awesome KTG PARTY and everyone was so happy INSIDE and OUT. He he he he he!
Cheers to my foodie family! Here's to 365 days of spreading the good word on drool-worthy food and living the happy, crazy, and lazy life!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR KTG!!!!

It's 2016 and the KAIN TULOG GANG is getting bigger and bigger!
We were reserved at our second home, F1 HOTEL MANILA, and they gave us their Titanium Function room. The same place we had our crazy CHRISTMAS PARTY last year!

AN EDSA SHANGRILA HOTEL SIT DOWN WEDDING!
On one particularly busy Saturday, ERICJAZ FOODIES was fully booked to a T: Early in the morning we attended the school intrams of the little lords because they will be having a presentation. Afterwards we watched Andrei and his team compete in his grade level basketball. Then at night, we will be attending not one, but two parties.
Would you believe that in the middle of it all, we will also be attending a wedding in EDSA SHANGRILA HOTEL? Yep! And I was lovin' it! Truth be told, I hated attending weddings when I was single. Because not only am I expected to answer the usual MEH question of "When are you getting married?", I fiercely DO NOT like joining the bouquet toss.
Add to that the garter game with the guy? (Homer shudders).
Now that I'm happily married to the man of my dreams (blech), I will never miss a chance to attend a wedding. Besides having the chance to dress up and meet with friends/or family, I love attending events where there is so much happiness in the air. Plus, it's nice to see two people, who are so in to each other, say their vows and party on like the Chinese Adonis and I did many years ago.
Haaaaay.... To be young and in love!
Of course, food is NEVER a factor for us when we attend weddings. Sometimes I even forget about it. ("Huh? There's a buffet? I didn't know!")
Yehessss... To be old, in love, and DELUSIONAL.
Okay fine. Food does that even to the best of us.
:)
We're going to a wedding!
The wedding was in EDSA SHANGRILA BALLROOM and we're relieved that even if we were late, the reception program hasn't started yet.
