TITTOS LATIN BBQ AND BREW

Once upon a time before the pandemic....

It's been a while since I saw the dear Godoy's that's why when we needed to meet up for one night, we made it into a gimik. He he he he!

You see, I have finally decided to do some "adulting" and get myself insurance. I thought that when I depart for heaven (for heaven daw o!!!!) I don't want to burden my family with the cost. At the same time, I'd like to give the boys a little something to help them out.

Kidding. I just want to get my ginormous "noo" insured. Ha ha ha ha!

So with that, I met up with dear Lieza to make my payment and sign some documents. At the same time, she offered to treat me for dinner as my 40th pre-birthday celebration.

Yes. 40th!!! May reklamo????

Lieza suggested we try out TITTOS LATIN BBQ AND BREW and I was game because everytime we passed by Greenhills, that restaurant was always packed.

And eat there we did. It's great that I was finally able to try out this restaurant (that seems to be the new haven for "titas of Manila" he he he he). We enjoyed the food and I immediately made mental plans to return with my family.

A MEXICAN FOOD FESTIVAL IN DIAMOND HOTEL!

ERICJAZ FOODIES were invited for dinner one stormy weekend in DIAMOND HOTEL to try out their MEXICAN FOOD FESTIVAL at their CORNICHE RESTAURANT and we were excited.

Yep! Like Speedy-Gonzales-on-steroids-partying-like-there's-tomorrow-on-an-endless-Cinco-de-Mayo, excited! He he he he!

I don't normally accept invites these days but the thought of having Mexican food and my other favorites from CORNICHE, plus seeing the Kain Tulog Gang is enough to make me get braver in tackling a possible "carmageddon" ahead. Hopefully though, we won't get stuck at anything that would force us to cancel.

And by some sort of miracle, everything did work out! I was able to get out of work early and it was a smooth, traffic-free ride from Quezon City to Roxas Boulevard. Would you believe it only took us an hour? Yep! As waze predicted!

As expected, it was a festive and fun night! It was great seeing our foodie family and our tummies were thankful for all the colorful and tasty Mexican dishes served in the buffet of CORNICHE RESTAURANT. We were glad to join this fiesta.

Viva La Mexico!!! AY!

We're at the CORNICHE RESTAURANT!

I really thought that we'll be the only diners that night because of the typhoon but CORNICHE RESTAURANT had a fare share of guests that Friday.

TACO TUESDAYS AT CHIHUAHUA!!!!

When it comes to our best friends BGP Marian and Manong Fred, we don't pick a day in the week when we'll meet them: it could be on "Date Night Saturdays" because they're one of our favorite couples in the world, and on "Family Sundays" because they're already like family!

When we have to meet on a weekday though, we recently designated a new day for us just because it has become our favorite night for grubbing...

TACO TUESDAYS!!!!

And where do we do that? In CHIHUAHUA!!!!

Ole!

CHIHUAHUA

Call me Ms. Stereotype but why is it that when I hear "Mexican Restaurant", I always picture a place partying like it's cinco de mayo, mariachis all around in their sombreros while tickling their vihuelas, and everyone just toasting up margaritas and munching on nachos? Why?? Well probably because the Mexican's really know how to throw a good party that when a new joint shows up, diners are always assured of a great time with booze a-flowing and food deliciosa!

This was what my husband and I happily discovered and confirmed at CHIHUAHUA when we dropped by to try out their newest Mexican grubs. Just when I stepped inside, our group was already donning colorful ponchos and crazy sombreros -- and that's just the guys. Ha ha ha ha ha!

You would wish that I was kidding but hey, I'M NOT. Ha ha ha!

Seriously, everyone may be acting all loud, rowdy, or just plain mucho loco, but we certainly noticed that it was a party we want to get into. Because not only will the atmosphere in CHIHUAHUA promise you and your companions a festive time, but you will also get to taste hot platters and bowls of their delicious Mexican food!

I'm sure you would agree with me that if you can, you should go to CHIHUAHUA!

Andale! Andale!!!
