THE CHINESE ADONIS' 40TH BDAY CELEBRATIONS

The Chinese Dimpol had his big 4-0 this year and even if I told him there won't be ANY sort of celebration (because he didn't do anything when I turned 40!!!!), I wasn't able to resist and gave him a LOT of birthday gimmicks! I figured, he may not really be into grand gestures but he shows us everyday how much he loved us by being the most dependable and loving husband, daddy, son, brother, and son-in-law, there is. That's why I was glad when we were planning his birthday getogethers, I didn't have any problems with guests' participation -- the ones who mattered really partied with us.

So let me share with your how we celebrated the 40th birthday of our one and only Chinese Dimpol! Why? Because you guys are also VERY special to us!

Naks!!!!

HAPPY 40TH BDAY our dearest!!!!

PHO HOA WITH MY FAVORITE COUSINS

My peyborit cousins only have 2 days to go till their flight back to Las Vegas and even though our hearts are breaking, we know that life must go on. That's why even on another busy work night, we took them out for some dinner after a day of shopping. We just gotta spend more time with them!!!!  And when I asked Kuya Nap, Ate Sheila, and dear Mikee what they were craving for, their answer was Vietnamese.

So without further adieu, we went to our favorite PHO HOA!

PHO HOA!!!

PHO HOA is an ERICJAZ FOODIES favorite for so many years now! It never fails to make us all happy whenever we're craving for Vietnamese comfort food.

PHO HOA NOODLE SOUP (PART DEUX)

There was a time that I was doing absolutely nothing so I decided to just go on Facebook and stalk at my usual suspects. One FB account I always check on is by Spanky Enriquez (DAILY SPANKS) and for that day, he posted THIS on his wall...

I don't know if he did it on purpose but I'm sure that he made a lot of noodle lovers suffer that day. Just watching the sexy Anthony Bourdain almost making love to his Vietnamese pho noodles was excruciating --- it made me drool even if I was in the company of other people.

A funny sight I was, I'm sure.

After that, I was obsessed. I just HAVE to have Pho Noodles and slurp the way Mr. Bourdain did. I was so lucky that when my Chinese Adonis picked me up from work that night he asked my most favorite question -- "Where do you want to have dinner?"

Only 1 answer came to mind -- "DEFINITELY, Pho Hoa!"

PHO HOA!!!
