BANANA LEAF CURRY AGAIN (ESTANCIA MALL)

One night, my kumareng Gail was in dire need of the Jazzle Dazzle that when she asked if we could meet, I said yes (you know me, I would always like to help out even if it's not obvious... he he he).

Meet up was in Estancia mall because it's also where her gym is. When deciding on a place, my only condition was that it shouldn't be expensive (hellooo.... hindi naman niya ako ililibre and I'm on tipid mode these days... ha ha ha ha ha).

So we decided once more to go for our trusty BANANA LEAF CURRY -- the food was always good and very affordable.  Sulit na sulit for our kuripot selves.

In the end, it was another fulfilling night: I was able to accomplish my duties as a kumare by being there for a good friend, AND I was able to enjoy  the always satisfying grub from BANANA LEAF CURRY!!!!

It was a great night that I didn't miss the Yub at all!!!

BELAT. He he he he...

BANANA LEAF CURRY (POWER PLANT MALL)

It is actually rare for my little family to go out during weekdays because not only do the boys have school but we are also trying to watch our budgets. But during the last summer vacation, we just can't help it -- the little lords are so free to stay up late that we take them with us if they wanted to!

That's why one time I asked Master Mati if he could join us for dinner. Usually, they go with their Lolo (RIP) and Lola who treat the little lords to whatever they want, every night (YES! Every night!). For our impromptu date however, I was able to entice my little foodie to some exotic Asian food at BANANA LEAF CURRY. And wow! We had such a great dinner and ate more than we should!!!!

Good thing Andrei was not with us...

Wait. Who's Andrei again???

Tee Hee! Kidding!

We arrived pretty late but good thing that there was a group having a dinner party that night. At least we won't be the only ones to close down the restaurant. He he he he he he he!

TAMARIND

It was my husband's birthday week and it wouldn't be complete without a dinner with the usual suspects, my BGP Marian and Manong Fred. For some odd reason, my husband was always craving for Thai Food (we already had it 3 times for the past few days!) that when we asked where he wanted to eat in SM OWRA (yup that's how I pronounce it :P), he wished for our dinner to be TAMARIND.

MY THAI

(March 29, 2013)

My husband fetched me from work one Friday evening and I think I got out a wee late that's why we cannot go to a mall anymore.

So this would be our "quick bite for dinner and go home" date...

Sort of like a QUICKIE! YEAAAH!

A "quickie" with bagoong rice? Now may I say THAT seems tasty but nasty at the same time depending on how you look at it? Ha ha ha!

Oh well... Men are from Mars and Girls are from Venus I know.

Anywho, so we passed by Wilson avenue and was about to go to our usuals when MY THAI caught my eye.  I have always wanted to try the little Thai restaurant that could but never got to because we would always pig out in PHO HOA instead (Check that out HERE)! So this time, we will detach ourselves from the usual clasps of vietnamese pho and have for ourselves some exciting Thai food!

Oh wow... Quickies have never been this good! Tee hee!
