HOTEL HOPPING TO WELCOME 2023

AND for the 10th time in this silly little foodie blog, I am again featuring our traditional HOTEL HOPPING to end the old and greet the new year! I know you guys may be tired of this, but sorry na lang because this is a strict family tradition and it's most likely that we'll be doing it until the boys leave us to have a million babies.

BELAT!!

Seriously though, yes, we've been going to the same hotels and again, we've been doing the same thing over and over again. Still, every year gives a different kind of happiness, a different kind of memory, and a different sense of loving accomplishment at something that my Dad started while we were all little brats.

The pandemic may put a pause in our lives but not our family traditions. This year, we're excited that my Mom has finally joined us. I think the last time she was part of our HOTEL HOPPING tradition was when Daddy was initiating it. Though she changed our initial plans because either she didn't want to go too far or she didn't want to stay out late, in the end, everything worked out perfectly fun.

So here we are, sharing our HOTEL HOPPING tradition here in the blog (10th in ERICJAZFOODIES while forever in reality).

Enjoy!!!

Or not.

I know we DEFINITELY did!

WILBERT AND JAMIE'S SOFITEL WEDDING

The Chinese Adonis, Master Mati, and I, recently attended the wedding celebration of his first cousin, Wilbert, in Sofitel Manila.

Since most of his family members will not be able to attend, we decided to bring little ol' Matster with us so that he'll experience a Chinese Lauriat.

And there it is.

SOFITEL MANILA!

We have actually stayed in SOFITEL for a family staycation and tried their SPIRAL buffet with friends.  But this is the first time that we'll be attending a wedding so we're pretty excited at what the night will hold for us.

SOFITEL STAYCATION (PART TWO)

It's my little son's birthday weekend and TEAM YAP is celebrating via a staycation in SOFITEL. We already had a full day of swimming, Korean dining, SM MOA ferris wheeling, and LOTS of picture taking (see SOFITEL STAYCATION part ONE), but I assure you, the night was far from being DONE.

Sorry this blog is for General Patronage so there is no way that THAT was a naughty referral. It may be in our wishlist though... Tee hee... Kidding!

WARNING:Like the first part of this blog, there WILL be a lot of pictures here, so enter if you dare. At the same time, I apologize for it. I may be a frustrated actress since I auditioned for "Little Miss Philippines" and did not pass. What can I say?

After washing them up, we got ready to play our new (old) board game MAD!

This was my family's favorite board game when we were kids so it was something I really wanted to play with my TEAM YAP. It was so cool that my husband found one in good condition in EBay!

SOFITEL STAYCATION (PART ONE)

For my little lord's birthday weekend I treated TEAM YAP to an overnight stay at SOFITEL MANILA because I wanted the boys to swim in their famous pool till they get all happy and wrinkly. After a quick lunch at LAU CHAN, we finally drove to SOFITEL for family staycation and bonding that I hope they will never forget!

(Warning: Just in case you follow my blog (maybe by force?) and know how I tend to make long entries, this one has LOTS of pictures. Hence, THIS being the "part one". Sorry... tee hee!)
