MY RAMEN NAGI SATURDATE WITH MATI

Remember how Master Mati cancelled our Fridate plans the last minute that little Andrei took me out instead? Well he got guilty when he discovered that I was going to be lonely on Saturday. He then remembered how his Daddy told him to take care of me while he was away for a business trip in Indonesia.

Chinese Dimpol (mahangin hangin pa): "Mati.... tek ker op your Mommy....."

My first born declared that we would go out for a Saturdate and I was so happy.  Besides my husband, I cannot imagine going out with anyone else! And his choice venue for tonight? Greenbelt!

Where in Greenbelt? RAMEN NAGI!

Because we were both craving for some noodles!!!

MY CIBO FRIDATE WITH ANDREI

The Chinese Dimpol was on a week-long business trip to Indonesia and that meant I will be by my lonesome for the weekend. My initial plan was to go on a Fridate with Master Mati since I was on moping mode and didn't want to out with anyone else. But on Thursday, he cancelled saying he would like to go with his Lolo instead.

Traitor!!! Grrrrr! :(

Anyway, before I go on an all-out self-pity, temper tantrum, my bunsoy Andrei came to the rescue and said that he would like to go on a date with me. He initially announced that he will go with his Lolo on Friday but after learning that his Kuya made "indian", he dropped all plans and said he'll go out with me.

Yey! And I was so happy again!

And for Andrei, there was no need to ask him where he wanted to go if we we're on a date. It's ALWAYS going to be in this restaurant serving his favorite pasta...

SHANGRI-LA FINEST CHINESE CUISINE

One Friday in February, my friends from the "Quezon City Chapter" got together to feast on Chinese food at what, they would claim, to be my very early birthday celebration. When asked for a venue I decided to  name out the restaurant where our office mates would always order take-out from whenever we're craving for some Chinese food!

And that's in SHANGRI-LA restaurant in West Triangle. Quezon City!!!!

It will actually be my first time to eat in the restaurant at SHANGRI-LA after just ordering their food for take-out for many, many years!

OUR MAMOU TOO DATE!!!

I admit that when the VALENTIME'S season arrives, I'm always excited. Call me corny, cheesy, baduy, whatever, but seriously I am! There's just something about getting all lovey dovey and sweetie pacutesie during this season which really tugs the romantic in me.

Best thing too is that VALENTIME'S gives you MORE excuses to have a date and EAT!!!

For VALENTIME'S this year the Chinese Dimpol had to work both on February 14 and 15. So that meant we're not going out on our usual season of hearts date. Of course me being all human and dramatic got into my usual "tampo mode" and how "nobody loved me".

Two days after VALENTIME'S the Chinese Dimpol only texted me three simple words "Yub, want steak?"

Oh yes. My husband knows me super well already. Suddenly all is right in the world and I felt like Game Of Thrones is going to have a happy ending.

Yep! We're going to have steak this VALENTIME'S and the choice for that night was with our favorite...

MAMOU TOO!!!!

The Chinese Dimpol, though he made "indyan" on Valentine's Day and the day after, fetched me at the office so confidently happy.

In short, ang yabang. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

After a short drive from my office (he he he he) we arrived just in time for the Chinese Dimpol's reservations....

CUCINA BREAKFAST BUFFET (MARCO POLO STAYCATION)

THE YAPPY BUNCH were having a family staycation at MARCO POLO HOTEL in Ortigas and after sleeping really late last night, we woke up frantic....

We're going to miss breakfast!!!!

We all dressed up hurriedly and rushed downstairs to CUCINA for MARCO POLO HOTEL's breakfast buffet. We're grateful to discover that we were still on time! Yey!!! Now that's an early reason to rejoice!!!!

A Japanese long-time favorite has finally booked a one-trip flight to Manila, and we are just so happy to welcome it all....

The Chinese Dimpols recently had a business trip to Indonesia. And even if I sometimes want to wring his neck, his short absence made me miss him terribly and proved how I couldn't live without him.

Yeah. To the point that when he came back I was all sad and "wawa" when I said "Don't ever leave na ha..."

Yuuuuckkkkkkk some more with matching nausea!!!!!! Blech! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANYWAY, when he left on a Sunday, my Best Gal Pal BGP Mariane with her crummy hubby Manong Fred came to my rescue and took me out immediately on a Monday. Dear BGP was craving for some "Chicharon Bulaklak" and we know the only place where we can't have enough of THAT....
