SILK ROAD (JERICHO'S BIRTHDAY)

One Sunday, Kathi (Mucking Around Manila) invited us to celebrate the birthday of her partner in crime Jericho (Tasty Pixels Photography) in SILK ROAD organized by the ever hot and voluptuous, Chef Cecille.  Now normally the Chinese Adonis and I don't go out with friends on Sundays as we vowed to spend it always with the little lords (hoping that they'll grow up to that tradition) but the masterminds manipulated their devoted grand parents to go somewhere that Sunday morning and left us by our lonesome. Plus, Kathi had generously invited my mareng Gail of Glog that I wanted to support my sexy friend in her second blogger invite. So yes, we agreed to join the mini Thai party and have a very sinful pig-out Sunday!  Instant date morning for us!

SILK ROAD is located in the Net Quad building in Bonifacio Global City. If you have difficulty finding the restaurant, just look for these 4 metal figures dancing the whatever....

SILK ROAD THAI BISTRO (PART DEUX)

On a Friday night, we met up with one of our new favorite foodie couple Albert and Suet for some Thai food.

"New favorite foodie couple" you wonder? Well you would put them up your list as well especially if they made you a SUSHI CAKE for your BIRTHDAY! Ha ha ha ha! Sorry, I'm such a pathetic "food-weathered friend" I know! H aha ha!

Anyway, we remembered that we had such a gastronomic night in the now closed Thai Bistro in Robinson's Magnolia (SEE HERE) that when Chef Cecille Chang reopened the doors of her wonderful Thai food creations via SILK ROAD, we knew that was the next place for us to be.

Of course, besides indulging in our usual SILK ROAD THAI BISTRO favorites, we were also there to ogle at the ultra hot Chef Cecille! He he he he!

SILK ROAD THAI BISTRO

I know I recently had a great birthday but let me be bitter again once more.

I SO consider it unfair (or how about an abomination) that somebody was created to be AS HOT, AS FUNNY, AS SMART and AS HOT (again) as Chef Cecille Chang.

Oh myyyy....

REALLY! Like I said the first time I met her in RASTRO (SEE HERE), when goddess Aphrodite showered the earth with sexiness, this lady definitely BATHED the whole day in it (as for me, I was canoodling with Benedict Cumberbatch... bwa ha ha ha!). How is it even possible that all of those jaw dropping traits are jam packed into this lone hottie whose face could launch a thousand Ferraris? TELL ME.

What's more, you will not hate her. Once you meet dear Chef Cecille, you will immediately be under her spell because she's just so nice, fun, candid, and even childlike! And if she is not already perfect enough, yes, this lady CAN cook. Now THAT is what we deliciously discovered in her new restaurant SILK ROAD THAI BISTRO which served awesome Thai cuisine.

And suddenly, I was not so bitter anymore. She can be a HOT GODDESS all she wants, as long as she's there to head the helm of SILK ROAD and serve all those wonderful Thai food.

Then my birthday week became "happy" once again.

Tee heee......
