We've already got a lot of reasons to love OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE because their food never fails to satisfy even the hungriest or choosiest of diners. Imagine my surprise though when I received an invite to try out their new items on the menu because really, how COULD it get any better right?

Believe me it did. And on so many levels!

Our triumph on discovering these new OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE dishes is bittersweet because it's only offered for a limited time. So I guess that serves as a reminder (or a warning) that you need to go IMMEDIATELY to OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE.

When I had my week long birthday celebration earlier this year, OUTBACK PHILIPPINES was so kind to invite THE YAPPY BUNCH to treat us out for dinner. The timing was so perfect too because we were having a wonderful staycation at HYATT, CITY OF DREAMS  and the OUTBACK branch we were planning to go to was so near to us!

Talk about food fate! We were so meant to have tender and juicy steaks that weekend.

And we all have OUTBACK BLUE BAY WALK to thank for!

Plus my Mom and Dad since there wouldn't be a birthday treat if they didn't "create" me. Tee hee!

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR

Chinese New Year is coming and never before in the history of my sweet little life have I seen many promotions left and right on how to properly celebrate this Asian tradition. I mean yes, I have been married to my Chinese Adonis for 10 years now (blech :P) but hearing different "musts" and "shoulds" to be assured of an abundant year ahead still gives me a bit of a surprise.

Well for one, I should fill my table with 12 round fruits so that we could also have 12 months of good fortune.

Another is that if we have Chinese New Year Cake (or "tikoy") our year will be filled with togetherness and unity since the round dessert is very sticky to the touch.

The latest one that I have heard of is that if I wear red underwear and a new pair of pajamas to bed, I will have a very "lucky" year.  Hmmmm... It may sound like something my sneaky (and naughty) husband might say but yes it's true. I googled it and erased all my suspicions on what my husband meant by "lucky".

Anywho, like I said, we all have our practices and beliefs but sometimes something non-traditional comes along that will just blow away our "routine" with its awesomeness.

I'm talking about OUTBACK steakhouse. And yes, your "friend" from down under will be celebrating the Year of the Horse with you with grilled meats, pasta, and a whole lot of delicious fortune for you to enjoy!

OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

I work in a company called Michelin and I am required to go around almost all corners of the country to educate/train bus and truck drivers/owners on the proper usage of our tires. While on the road I get hungry so I would stop at nearby restaurants to fuel up my appetite. On some days, I would be satisfied by fast food or msg-filled dishes from eateries. But there are times when I just have to get big ton of meat into my system that would ensure me energy packs to last through the day... or even the week.

I'm glad that the famous steak franchise of OUTBACK has some serious lunch specials in their menu. And of course, since I am a father of 3 (if you count my "special" wife, he he he) I really appreciated that they made these dishes affordable for the working, albeit, growing man.

OUTBACK lunch offerings are perfect for those who want their mid-day food to be on the "full" side without emptying their pockets. So once in a while when I just need that "boost" via a hot plate brimming with food, I could go to OUTBACK and savor the juices of my hard work. And since prices are friendly, at least I would still have money to take out my lovely wife at night.

She asked me to add that by the way.
