My brother recently went to Japan and you know what that means....
He'll be taking home some KRACIE JAPANESE EDIBLE TOYS!!!!
My excited Andrei!!!
We decided to do this outside for a different setting. He he he he!
And this time, he gave Andrei the Ice Cream Kit!
(Check out the price! Egad! Sellers here really make a LOT of profit!)
Side A....
Side B!!!!!
Like all KRACIE EDIBLE JAPANESE TOYS, they have the instructions on the back of the box.
KRACIE gives very detailed instructions and it IS helpful....
if YOU COULD READ JAPANESE. He he he he he!
Seriously though the pictures could give you a hint on the procedure and they have properly color coded the packets for you to understand.
If you still couldn't get it, don't worry, you would find many instructional blogs... LIKE OURS! Yay!
When you open the box, you'll get these colored foil packets...
(Hi Penny!)
Plus a plastic basin where you will mix all of the powder with water.
The wafers and cones are provided too!
Now let's do it!
Andrei started off by slicing the wafers using the plastic mixer with a flat edge.
The wafers naman are thin and could easily be cut.
First up is the pink sachet!
Pour the contents in the plastic basin provided.
Then with the triangular scoop (that you snap out of the plastic tub), you get 1 "cup" of water and mix.
Note that the Japanese are very precise so if they said 1 scoop of water, you have to follow it to a T!
Just mix it thoroughly and you will get the expected results.
Woah!
Andrei said it smelled so good that he immediately wanted to try it.
Next up, the Vanilla powder in the Blue Sachet!
You also put here the same amount of water to mix.
Afterwards, get the blue plastic.
You will use this as your piping bag!!!!
Carefully pour in the strawberry and vanilla icing and push it till the contents are at the bottom of the bag.
Cut the corner for that instant "spout".
And then squeeeeeeeeeeeze!
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Andrei finished with the icing, he got the colorful sprinkles!
At this time, he was controlling himself from eating the whole thing. He he he he!
He finished his first creation with sprinkles!
Voila!!!!
Instant tart!
Next up, the Ice Cream cones!
The bunsoy was getting the hang of it and was done in no time.
He was having a lot of fun!
Putting on the finishing touches...
DONE!
Last one is the wafers!
Andrei planned to have a different design on it.
He was running out of icing though...
Hala!
Finish!
He was only able to make 1 wafer because he ran out of the icing.
I think he ate it when I was not looking. He he he he he!
Yohooo!!!!!
It was a productive (and tasty) afternoon for me and the bunsoy. Besides enjoying the making of these candies, he also savored every bite of it.
How did it taste? It was like a very mild candy. Not too sweet but not so tasty. STILL, Andrei munched on it all like it was the last food on earth. He loved every bit of it.
And that's what counts!
Kuya Jon could we have more Kracie???
He he he he he he!
