TACO TUESDAYS AT CHIHUAHUA!!!!

When it comes to our best friends BGP Marian and Manong Fred, we don't pick a day in the week when we'll meet them: it could be on "Date Night Saturdays" because they're one of our favorite couples in the world, and on "Family Sundays" because they're already like family!

When we have to meet on a weekday though, we recently designated a new day for us just because it has become our favorite night for grubbing...

TACO TUESDAYS!!!!

And where do we do that? In CHIHUAHUA!!!!

Ole!

Yep! Even if it was a weekday, it was a busy night in the popular Mexican restaurant in Greenbelt.

We were able to get a table for us in the less noisy part of CHIHUAHUA! Yep it's possible. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Ordering at CHIHUAHUA is self-service. It was really a quick decision for us though.

CHIHUAHUA Nacho Chip and Queso (P125.00)!!!

My husband doesn't like vegetables and would go for the basics when it comes to having chips, so this was a natural choice!

Besides his Nachos, the Chinese Dimpols ordered the CHIHUAHUA Quesadilla solo with Beef Picadillo (P237.00)!

We don't have appetites as big as before so this was too much for the Yubhub already.

Besides his tacos, Manong Fred ordered a CHIHUAHUA Nacho Grande (P235.00) -- one of our usual favorites!!!

What we loved about the Nacho Grande was that the toppings do not overpower the nachos. It just had the right amount of meat, veggies, and sauce that even if we've been chatting and munching on it for quite some time, the nachos are still crispy!!!!

Yep! Manong Fred loves it so much!!!!

And here comes my Beef Tacos!!!!!!

Yup! From P287.00 it's priced at P143.50 every Tuesdays!!!!

For every order of the tacos, you get 3 pieces with a choice of hard shell or soft tortillas! For that night, I went 2 and 1! He he he he he! My favorite is the latter because personally I find it easier to eat and it just goes well with the rich filling.

As for Manong Fred, he got 3 hard tacos because matigas kasi ulo niya. HA HA HA HA HA HA!

The CHIHUAHUA beef tacos were just glorious and MESSY! But it all added to the fun of eating it with friends.

I know I shouldn't eat it all, but I wouldn't have a hard time finishing all 3 tacos especially with the savory ground beef, chopped juicy tomatoes, crispy lettuce, and creamy sauce.
