B&B (BURGERS AND BREWSKIES 1ST YEAR ANNIVERSARY)

It's the first year anniversary of B & B (BURGERS AND BREWSKIES) and ERICJAZ FOODIES were there to celebrate the very meaty event!

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES was the break out burger joint in Burgos Circle and it's already a year old!

Sorry for the alliteration but you cannot have enough B's especially when it's a BEAUTIFUL BABE BLOGGING!

Bwa ha ha ha ha! 

BLECH!

It was a Monday night and though it was the start of another grueling work week, the husband and I cannot NOT attend this delicious celebration.

Actually, this goes out more for the Chinese Adonis. The guy was just absolufrikkenly obssessed with burgers that even if I was already having doubts with my attendance, he was like "No we're going!" 

Me: "But YUU-UUB!!! I have front row tickets to the BEATLES concert!!!"

Chinese Adonis : "NO! WE'RE GOING TO BURGERS AND BREWSKIES!"

Not that the BEATLES are still together at 2014, but you know what I mean.

Well apparently, a lot of foodies in the Metro share the same enthusiasm as my husband when  it comes to the grub at BURGERS AND BREWSKIES because the place was packed in no time!

HA! I don't need alcohol to see something scary every time I wake up in the morning!

Inside BURGERS AND BREWSKIES!

It was somewhat crowded downstairs so the Chinese Adonis chose to go up the next level. 

It may be a full house in the second floor of BURGERS AND BREWSKIES but that seems to be where the party is. 

The first year anniversary party of BURGER AND BREWSKIES was in full blast. Everyone was having a grand time!

Both me and the Chinese Adonis haven't eaten at BURGERS AND BREWSKIES yet but we were so looking forward to the food here based on the raves of our food bloggers.

The Chinese Adonis was welcomed by BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Chef Marc Nocon. He was such a gracious host and very enthusiastic about his new creations!

According to Chef Nocon, some of the grub that were introduced tonight will be served come December at the opening at BURGERS AND BREWSKIES branch in Capitol Commons. Now THAT'S something more to look out for this holiday season!

First on the table was a trio of BURGERS AND BREWSKIES mouth watering appetizers!!!

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Sweet Potato Fries (P65.00) were a fine chomp especially with its generous dusting of spices!

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Kick Ass Spuds (P85.00) was a scrumptious alternative to the usual fries with your burger. I loved the mild crunch from the potato marble skins that were drenched in cheese, bacon, and scallions. 

Truly addicting! You won't stop gobbling at just one!

My favorite among these 3 chomps would have to be this guy in the middle!

You see, I really love corn. As in I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, no I mean REALLY, I love corn!

Did I say that I love corn?

But my classic favorite was cranked up to not just one but about 10 notches up my scumptious level!!! Imagine, grilled corn smeared with mayonnaise and spicy cheese! Wow! Truly mind blowing!!! After just one messy bite, I was instantly hooked! Never mind that I got my face all dirty like a child's and that my teeth got a lot kernel wedges.... This was just TOTALLY AWESOME! I never thought I could love corn more than I already had before, but I DID!!! 

If nobody was with me that night, I would have swiped the whole thing and licked all those things glorious on that cob. 

Oooh yeah... I will be VERRRYYY dirty with that BURGERS AND BREWSKIES corn!

We're only appetizers at BURGERS AND BREWSKIES and we were already raving! So excited for what's coming up!

If you love fish and chips, BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Popcorn Fish put a new spin to that english classic! Besides the savory steak fries, you'll feast on crunchy morsels of fried fish in light batter. 

Give your tasty fish a generous dip of their BURGERS AND BREWSKIES sriracha aioli and I betcha that you'll love it so much, you'll be popping those golden nuggets in your mouth in an instant!

I could actually imagine myself devouring this BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Popcorn fish with garlic rice!!!

If you love buffalo wings with your drinks, BURGERS AND BREWSKIES has the thing for you! These fried chicken wings with spicy gochujang glaze were truly finger licking good! I found myself doing just THAT and sucking on the bones dry.... 

... the chicken bones that is! 

There were also some BURGERS AND BREWSKIES fried chicken wings that the Yub and I were not able to try.

DRATS.

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Sausage Meatballs!

What you get here are rounded up breakfast sausages that were fried up to a crisp! These hot babies were served atop a sweet gravy.

BURGER AND BREWSKIES Adult Macaroni and Cheese!

I am OBSESSED with all things creamy so this white golden slop is such a beauty in my eyes! But hey, these are not your ordinary macaroni with cheddar cheese.... You get rigatoni pasta with oozing 2 cheeses and topped with smoked salmon and parmesan crumbs. Oooh lala!

I know it may be disgusting to eat this with rice (Hello! I'm Ms. Carbo loader!) But yes... I TOTALLY COULD! Each forkful was just heavenly. If  there was no possibility of me turning into a whale due to overeating, I would have me a plate of THIS along with B & B'S burgers! 

Up next was the moment my husband was waiting for...

B & B's BURGERS!

For that night, we got a taste of their new sliders in the menu!

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES The Rodeo -- Grilled mini burger patties with tangy barbecue sauce and crunchy onion rings!

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES The Mosby -- Grilled beef patties with bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and onions then drenched with spiced mustard aioli! 

BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Pulled Pork with crunchy coleslaw!

Even though it was not really included in BURGERS AND BREWSKIES anniversary menu, the guys ordered and shared (uuuy sweet) the ever popular CALL THE NURSE burger (P280.00)

Oh dear... We're in trouble now!






I never thought it was possible to top a burger with creamy and gooey macaroni and cheese! But whaddaheck, BURGERS AND BREWSKIES did it!





AND, if that was not beautiful enough, you also get a 3 fat strips of fried sriracha bacon to combat that BURGERS AND BREWSKIES mushy bite!

Why hello BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Call The Nurse! My very loving husband did not leave a bite of your graciousness for me to try! 

But don't worry... What I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long "hunger". Skills that make me a nightmare for grub like you. I swear even if my husband will not bring me back to BURGERS AND BREWSKIES, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will EAT you.

Oh yes. I could get so TAKEN when it comes to the "one that got away"....

My husband enjoyed the delicious grub at BURGERS AND BREWSKIES while chugging down bottles of cold Asahi...

Yup! It cools SO well!

For dessert we got BURGERS AND BREWSKIES Creamy Soy Panna Cotta (P85.00)!

My husband loved the velvety and silky panna cotta made with soy milk. He particularly enjoyed the savory sweetness of the dessert. 

It may be eewwwy to some but my husband assured me that the Spiced Candied Bacon of the BURGERS AND BREWSKIES panna cotta worked well with creamy custard!

Yum!

Burp! And I'm done!

I love having instant date nights with the Chinese Adonis!!!!
