CANTO BOGCHI JOINT ( BAGUIO CITY )

It's been a long time since my last trip to Baguio city that's why when questions on where to eat were concerned, I was clueless. Good thing my kumareng Aning has been in Baguio many times that's why she already had some top favorites. And there was one restaurant that she strongly recommended and wouldn't let us go home without trying it..

CANTO BOGCHI JOINT!!

Parking spaces were limited in CANTO and unfortunately for us, it was raining so hard that night.

Still, we were a determined group. Even if we got wet we ran towards the cafeteria like restaurant of CANTO.

I'm not sure how it was in the normal weather but CANTO most had tarps for their walls. Me thinks that in the day time, their restaurant was more open for the natural cool air of Baguio.

ROLL CALL!!!!

Pareng Jonahs and Mareng Anne!

Ate Lee and Dani!

Our bunsoy boys Andrei and Jelo!

Best Buddies Mati and Johans!

Me and the Yub of House ERICJAZ FOODIES!

He he he he he he he!

So excited for the return of GAME OF THRONESSSSSSSS!!!!!!

Ordering up!

The boys kept themselves entertained while waiting for the food.

Dear Aning swears by the ribs of CANTO so we got the whole slab (P460.00) that is good for about 3 people.

When you eat the ribs, ask for extra sauce -- the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce is so addicting!

Rub a dub dub... TIME TO GRUB!

SUGOD MGA KAPATID!!!!

Almost everyone in the group ordered the ribs to share. Only dear Johans got the Canto Burger (P180.00) which I tried and was just meh.

While Master Mati ordered the Spicy Squid from the next door restaurant, HAPPY TUMMY (P185.00).

The sauce was only mildly spicy but mucho delizioso!!!!!!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the little lords and Team Virrey in CANTO BOGCHI!

We also got some CANTO Fries (P65.00) for the kiddies but this was soon ignored when the ribs arrived. He he he he he!

My plate!!! My messy but I don't care because it's seriously deeeelicious plate!

When you eat at CANTO, don't expect the ribs to be like what you find in famous popular American food chains. It's very affordable because they use local ingredients, and woah... it's so FATTY!

If you're controlling your carbs, you could always go for the side salad served along with the ribs. BUT, the tender and moist beef are sooooo yum that you would immediately order rice without knowing it.

Parang hypnotized ka. He he he he he he!

DONE!

Except for the veggies!

Normally I love salads but we're on vacation kaya... carbs galore! He he he he he!

Our CANTO bill!!!

I'm glad that we ended a very rainy Saturday with a delicious and affordable dinner at CANTO!!! We were a long table full of happy tummies!

Now it's time to brave the rain again.
