SUNDAYS AT MONGKOK

It was a lazy Sunday and we were all just craving to do NOTHING that day.

Of course, we had to eat. Now where should we go after cleansing our soul in Sunday mass?

Why not have some of our favorite comfort food????

With that, we all thought of going to MONGKOK, a surefire favorite in Powerplant Mall that always hit the spot when we're lazy and hungry at the same time.

Lazy because we don't want to think what we want anymore. Everything there is just good!!! He he he he he he he!

And as expected everyone agreed. You really can't go wrong with greasy Chinese food even if it IS a Sunday. He he he he he!

MONGKOK!!!!!

MONGKOK is always full in Powerplant Mall because the food was good and the prices so affordable.

Normally, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a table after the 11:00am to 12:00pm mass crowd goes down. Good thing we were able to reserve a table!!!!

WOHOOO!

ROLL CALLSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Mommy and Mati!

Me and the fugly Yub!

Ate Jit and Anthony!!!

Me and the baby bunsoy!

Hala he has bigote na!

First on the table is our favorite MONGKOK Century Egg and Seaweeds (P190.00)!

This was empty in no time!

MONGKOK Hakaw (P145.00)!

Steamed shrimp dumplings! Plump, juicy, and flavorful! Yum!

MONGKOK Siomai (P125.00)!

You could never go wrong with dimsum! Always hits the spot.

MONGKOK Chicken and Shrimp Hot Salad (P320.00)!

This is one of our new favorites in MONGKOK. We love the sweet and creamy dressing with the fried chicken and shrimp.

MONGKOK Beef with Brocolli (P310.00)!

Another MONGKOK staple for us -- the beef is always tender and the veggies crunchy. Haaaaaaayyyyyyy.... We cannot NOT order this in MONGKOK!

MONGKOK Salt and Pepper Squid (P300.00)!

Not really super spicy but we really enjoy the crispy on the outside and soft on the inside version of this garlic fried dish.

MONGKOK Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs (P320.00)!!!

Each rib is well seasoned and perfect for gnawing off the bone. I usually eat this using my bare hands!!!!!

MONGKOK Cantonese Noodles (P310.00)!

So saucy, greasy, and just deliciously wonderful!!!!!!!

MONGKOK Yang Chow Fried Rice (P350.00)!

The rice could've been more appetizing if it was fried well. It was a bit mushy to our taste. Oh well... We're all hungry so we attacked it.

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the family in MONGKOK!!!!!

My plate!!! My MONGKOK filled plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now you see it...

Now you don't.

BURP.

SHEREEEEEEEEP!!!!

Le bill!!!!!!!

Thanks Mommy for the treat!

Afterwards, Ate Jit treated us all to a Churros dessert in LA LOLA!!!

YEHESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
