FLOSSOM AGAIN FOR ATE'S BIRTHDAY

My sister recently celebrated her birthday and as a treat, I invited her out for dinner as part of my birthday gift. When I asked for suggestions, she gave me the usual places in Powerplant Mall and Greenhills. I thought, why not someplace where we she hasn't been to? And with that, I recommended FLOSSOM KITCHEN + CAFE because my friends loved the food when I celebrated my birthday there, and my family also enjoyed the dishes when I treated them last summer.

My sister agreed and as expected, she and her husband savored our meal that night. I'm glad that we were able to go out  and had a bonding couples night to celebrate her birthday. It was just yesterday when we were snotty little kids daydreaming about going out with our prince charmings.

And then.... kekwekweeeeeeng!

He he he he he he! Here's her birthday dinner in FLOSSOM!

FLOSSOM KITCHEN + CAFE!

I see again the familiar neon lights.

FLOSSOM is a comfy cozy cafe in San Juan that gets full even or ordinary days that's why reservations are needed.

ROLL CALL!!!!!!!

Birthday girl Doc Jojit and her hub Atty. Anthony!!!!

And us....

The Prince of  All Things Macho, and the Countess of Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice!

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Say nyo huh?!

First on the table is an order of my favorite FLOSSOM Trash Can Nachos (P350.00)!

Normally we would take a picture or a video when the gooey cheese is poured onto the crunchy nachos but since we've had this many times already I'm somehow jaded.

BUT, I would NEVER get over how good this plate of nachos is. I think this is my favorite plate of nachos EVER! The chips are crunchy, the ground meat has the right seasoning, the salsa and guacamole are fresh, and the melted cheese with sour cream makes it all perfect.

Sarap!

Truth be told, this is the reason why I love going back to FLOSSOM. I could have this again and again!

Anthony was feeling a little hungry and got the FLOSSOM Buttermilk Chicken!

2 big pieces of crispy and juicy fried chicken with seasoned rice and coleslaw!

Yup! Winner, winner, of a chicken dinner.

Ate Jit had the FLOSSOM Spicy Shrimp Linguine (P320.00). The serving was too big for her (since we're also full from the nachos) that she asked to share it with me.

That would be SO fine with me!!!!!

The Yub got the FLOSSOM 4-Cheese Pizza (P420.00) to share.

Crust was crispy and it was just loaded with cheese.

Yummmmers!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with Ate Jit and Anthony in FLOSSOM CAFE!

Let's EAT!

I arranged a mini-surprise for ate Jojit from FLOSSOM!

Yup! A simple cake and a song!!! Yes she was really surprised!

AND since she doesn't read my blog, THIS was really her reaction....

Har de har har!!!!!!!!!

Tee Hee....

Happy 65th Ate Jojit!

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Yes. Senior Citizen ka na.

I felt terrible initially for my joke. But when she didn't not let me touch the cake (unless I was going to eat it all) so that she could bring it to the office the next day made me think...

BUTI NGA! He he he he!

Kidding. Yes. Carinyo brutal kami!

Oh well... I just had a cup of coffee to drown my cake sorrows. Tee hee!

My bill!

FLOSSOM is becoming one of my lovely favorites in San Juan. And like I said above, my sister and her husband loved it so it's sure that we'll go back here again and again.

Kami naman ilibre nyo...

HA HA HA HA HA!

SO.

THERE.
