NANBANTEI OF TOKYO

So once again ERICJAZ FOODIES is out with our favorite two little lords in the world.....

And once again, ERICJAZ FOODIES will meet up with BGP Marian and Manong Fred (I swear, they are almost like the silent partners of this silly little foodie blog)....

But this time, we will be trying out something new....

And that is..... (drumroll with ting at the end)....

NANBANTEI OF TOKYO!!!!

Well only because VILLAGE TAVERN is full, but you could say that this was meant to be. He he he he he he!

NANBANTEI OF TOKYO!!!!!

This is the restaurant besides VILLAGE TAVERN in BGC and though there were a lot of diners inside, there was no line. He he he he he he!

What I immediately liked about NANBANTEI OF TOKYO was that it was roomy and it had a diverse clientele of hungry diners.

Initially I really thought this was a hang out for friends who want to drink with their itty bitty barbecue sticks. Turns out, NANBANTEI OF TOKYO was very kid-friendly as well!

ROLL CALL!!!!

BGP Marian and Manong Fred!

Little lords Prince William and Prince Harry!

DARYL DIXON and CAROL!

Oh look at the flowers..... on my dress!

Time to order!

A!!!

B!!!!

We ordered 2 sets and just shared it!!!

While waiting for our orders, NANBANTEI OF TOKYO served these complimentary chilled veggie sticks with hoisin dip. It's was fine to munch on even without the sauce!

There was an open kitchen so you could see the food being grilled!

From the NANBANTEI triple 8 sets, we each got a bowl of hot miso soup! Yum!

Kani Salad!

I was in the mood for some sushi so I got my usual Tekkamaki (P95.00)!

It seemed so fresh that the Chinese Adonis was tempted to eat one.... not!

Pork with leeks!!!!

NANBANTEI Negima (Chicken meat with leeks!)

NANBANTEI Beef Yakiniku!

Beef Yakiniku with leeks!

NANBANTEI Aspara Maki (Asparagus wrapped in pork)!

NANBANTEI Potato Maki!

My favorite for the night was the chicken liver wrapped in bacon! Yum! I'm craving for this now.

I think I ate most of it myself!

Chicken Yakiniku!

NANBANTEI Chicken Wings!

One of the sets came with Ebi Tempura!

NANBANTEI SET A!

More Yakiniku sticks!

BTW, those Salmon Balls are nasty!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the little lords and the Minas in NANBANTEI OF TOKYO!

LET'S EAT!

A long table with lots of food!

Can't talk. Eating!

We can't seem to finish all of the food!

Don't get me wrong. The NANBANTEI barbecues were delicious! But there was just a lot!

Mati was so happy with the beef!

Juicy Chicken barbecue!

The bacon wrapped potatoes are okay.

There was an empty jar provided in NANBANTEI for the sticks.

I told Andrei that if he's halfway with his food, he could order his favorite Salmon Sashimi (P210.00)

My little Sashimi eater!

I'm always the last one eating!

And we're done!

Dessert was coffee ice cream with jelly!

We split the bill at NANBANTEI! Aren't prices reasonable?

What a great dinner at NANBANTEI OF TOKYO! We got dizzy with all of the food! Hoping to make another visit here to pig out on all those barbecues!!!

SO. THERE.

Go Andrei! You could do it! He he he he he!
