VILLAGE TAVERN (AGAIN)

One Sunday, ERICJAZ FOODIES met up with BGP Marian and Manong Fred because my friend was deeply craving for one of her favorite salads!

And the venue for tonight: VILLAGE TAVERN!

VILLAGE TAVERN is brought to us by BISTRO GROUP and is a popular venue for night-outs in BGC.

Unlike TGIFRIDAYS, FLAP JACKS, KRAZY GARLIK, SIKLAB, etc, VILLAGE TAVERN has a different look or authority to it especially with the dark hues and soft lights of the restaurant.

You'll also know that drinks are definitely a must have with their long list of specialty cocktails and wines!

ROLL CALL!

Manong Fred and BGP Marian!

Me, the Chinese Adonis, and his very bad haircut!

Ano ka, Katipunero???

:)

TIME TO ORDER!

FOINALLY!

VILLAGE TAVERN menu 9!

After we placed our orders, VILLAGE TAVERN served some complimentary bread to pacify our hungry tummies.

The bread was warm and with a nice crunch into it!

It was definitely fine dipped in the olive oil!

Yub had a side order of VILLAGE TAVERN Sweet Potato Fries (P195.00) thinking it would just be something for us to pass the time.

We got a basket of the fresh off the fryer carb and wow! It was still piping hot when we bit into it!

What a crunch it gave! So perfect with the creamy mushroom dipping sauce that we licked to the last drop!

The ever Pizza lovin' Chinese cutie boy ordered the VILLAGE TAVERN Flatbread Pizza (P495.00) since he was craving for something Italian to munch on...

... besides Monica Bellucci.

Kidding! He he he he he!

One thing we can really point out is that they did not scrimp on the ingredients! In every bite, you will get everything that is promised in the menu!

Of course, the reason why we're in VILLAGE TAVERN is because the BGP is craving for THIS salad which got the thumb of approval from Manong Fred!

The VILLAGE TAVERN Thai Chicken Salad (P495.00)!!!

Serving is good for 2 or 3 ladies and BGP Marian generously shared with me. I'm glad I was able to get a taste because this is my new favorite salad now! I instantly got super delirious with the fresh greens that was complemented with carrots, edamame beans, and fried wanton strips for extra texture. The sesame lime dressing and thai peanut sauce just made everything more delectable!!!

Manong Fred was craving for meat that was not too heavy on his big, bulging tummy (hehehe!). So he ordered the VILLAGE TAVERN Chicken Kiev (P395.00)!

We called BGP Marian and Manong Fred via Facetime to tell them that it's time to eat. They snuck somewhere to make out...

Kidding!!!!

We are actually FACING each other on one table. We're just acting all silly as usual.

ERICJAZ FOODIES with BGP Marian and Manong Fred at VILLAGE TAVERN!

My plate! My very messy and gross plate!

The VILLAGE TAVERN Kiev was quite good! You know me. I love anything rich and creamy so this would definitely be on my list to go back for.

And we're done!

Our VILLAGE TAVERN bill!

That was such a great and delicious meal! We better go back for the salad, the chicken, the fries... EVERYTHING!!!!

Hmmm... I think I have a new place for my one on one date with a little lord!

So. There!

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

After dinner, we had dessertd in SLICE!

I got the Banoffee pie while BGP had the... I forgot.

I ordered a cappuccino and it came with these munchies that were healthy and yum!

What a fun Sunday night with one of my favorite couples in the universe!

Wait. I think I want to retract my statement.

Oh well. There's really no denying it. But we all feel the same way about each other.

JACKPOT!!!
(Sorry. Private joke. Tee hee!)

HE HE HE HE HE HE HE HE!
