KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE

It was a great Fridate with Albert, Suet, and our son Mati, but even after stuffing ourselves silly with delicious Thai food from SILK ROAD (SEE HERE!!!!), we were still in the mood for a "sweet" night cap. Actually I'm not really sure if it was the gluttony convincing us to get more dessert calories into our system or if it was we were having a lot of fun gabbin' and grubbin' that we didn't want to end the night... YET.

With the after dinner night finalized, we trooped over to the famous coffee house in Bacolod which set foot in Manila...

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE!!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE offered 3 types of brewing method for their coffees : the French Press, the Aero Press, and the V60 Pour Over!

According to Albert, who also hailed from Bacolod, KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE was like their "Starbucks" -- IT WAS EVERYWHERE! So it was only natural that we have our dessert here so that we could have a taste of what Bacolod had to offer.

KUPPA ROASTER CAFE was the first cafe to have in-house coffee roasting in the country!

At first, I thought this was a meat grinder, but then I realized, WHY HAVE A MEAT GRINDER IN A COFFEE HOUSE? DUH (Homer moment) HA HA HA HA! This was pretty big actually... see the chairs and table?

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE's Coffee beans!!!

And with just this simple sign, I am reminded to be more respectful of an establishment who offered more to its diners than just brewed coffee -- they instilled in each cup a part of their "family love"...

and now I'm raring to try it!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE interiors could rival any popular coffee house out there.

What you looking at? Pervert! :)
Even with unpainted walls, lamps, and chalk board signs, you would still get that feeling to just sit down and relax with that perfectly brewed coffee.

I saw from their menu that KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE also had food good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

But of course, we were in KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE for the talk and coffee --- I provide the talk, they get the coffee!

In line to order!!!!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE pastries!

Pecan and Walnut pies!

Quiches!

Croissants!

Cheesecakes!

I'm not sure if this is creme brulee....

Chocolate covered cakes...

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE chocolate beast!

Cutie Tiramisu!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE carrot bars!

Walnut brownies!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE eclairs!

Poor Apple Tart... all alone...

Like I said, KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE served MORE than just coffee!

You could also get extra shots of flavoring in  your drink!

When we settled into our seats, KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE servers immediately gave us cool bottled water!

ERICJAZ FOODIES ROLL CALL!

Suet and the very dapper Albert... NAKS!

Me and Master Mati who got upset later on that he did not get to watch his favorite BUBBLE GANG!

The Chinese Adonis... SO HANDSOME OMIGERRD!

Albert and Suet ordered tea that was served in this contraption!

For the life of me, I don't know what's going on in this tea pot. I feel like that's the alien going to nest inside me until it bursts out of my stomach in its adulthood. (Sorry can't help it. I have a really weird mind.). But my 2 friends seem to enjoy their comforting hot drink.

Albert HELP! What's this again? I'm relying on your available time to read this blog because I'm too lazy to send you a facebook pm!

I got a KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE Cafe Moccha!

Yub had the KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE lemonade!

Suet ordered the KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE strawberry cheesecake which was not too sweet nor to tart for my taste buds! This was really good with my coffee!

KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE brownies! Fudgy and moist!

And of course when I see the words LAVA CAKE, I always order it! And KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE's fudgy blob was very nummy yummy in our tummies!

Especially with ice cream! OH WOW!

I got some competition with Mati though on the KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE lava cake (grumble grumble!)

Kidding! He he he he!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the Santillanas in KUPPA ROASTERY CAFE!

This was sooo good that I was willing to swipe it out of Mati's hands and forget that he's my son!

Kidding again... tee hee!

Almost done!

Thanks so much Albert and Suet for the sushi cake... este... coffee and dessert! Looking forward to meeting you guys again next time!!!!

LET'S EAT!
