F CAFE AGAIN (F1 ALL DAY DINING)

Christmas may be all fun and "Fa la la la la la la la la la" but seriously, it could be one of the cruel holidays there is. Oooh yes! Diet all you want and have several hours running at the treadmill... when the holiday spread presents itself at you, you'll lose all  elements of reason and just surrender to the forces of food.

Yehesss... So cruel. 

That is exactly what happened after weeks and weeks of controlling my wild appetite. I thought I was already doing a great job and promised that I will really eat like a bird during our recent staycation at F1 HOTEL MANILA, when  HELLO! F CAFE was serving the Fiery and Frosty Christmas buffet!!!!

Where?
When????

And just like that Christmas won once more and I was powerless over all the hot and glistening food served at us.

Truly... truly cruel!

But I LOVE it!!!!

On the first day of our staycation, we headed towards F CAFE for our first buffet Christmas lunch.

F CAFE may not have a long buffet line compared to other popular restaurants out there but the dishes were exceptional and celebrated the Filipino and Asian flavors!

Their cheese spread may not be as big as a whole room but the delectable favorites were there. I cannot wait to dig in!

We started first with the appetizers at F CAFE and I was almost dizzy from the selection.

Of course, I know that sashimi was not really the celebrated dish for the holiday season but I just can't help it! I LOVE Japanese food so much I may already be committing a sin!

AND I loaded up on some oysters.... 

Plus, I requested to have these steamed lobsters to be fried up with butter and garlic! 

I was so attracted to the colorful fresh lumpiang ubod which is usually one of my favorites at home.

BUT OPKORS, I'll make room for THE star of the F CAFE buffet.... The Organic Lechon! 

You'll immediately get mesmerized once the chef pierces the roasted crispy pig and glorious steam pipes out! 

I tell you, the aroma of lemon grass with pork fat was just indescribable!!!!

Too lazy to pick out the bones? Then go for F CAFE's special for their Christmas buffet... the stuffed pork belly with arroz ala valenciana is NOTHING that I've ever tried before!!!

And WOAH... are we missing a lot!

Of course, a Christmas spread is not complete without the popular Ham!

My master Mati helped himself to a lot of food that lunch. He especially pigged out on F CAFE's seafood!

I got 2 servings of the F CAFE baked salmon with cream sauce! The boneless fish was cooked just perfect and was still soft to the bite.

Upon seeing this platter of buttered spicy crabs, I thought to myself that it WAS  a fiery and frosty Christmas indeedy!

My utoy was particularly drawn to the brown rice seafood paella in the buffet. And yes, it was indeedy a winner!

The F CAFE food gets a 4 fingers up from the Chinese Adonis! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Finally, we were all able to make up our minds in what to get and sit down to EAT!

The little lords were extra behaved this F1 HOTEL MANILA staycation and did not need much prodding to finish their food. So YEY!

Good thing because the Chinese Adonis and I were planning to stay in F CAFE for a LOOOONG time! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Time for dessert!

My husband was going for the healthy route and filled up on fruits for his "panghimagas".

As for me, the F CAFE bread pudding, fondue, and Christmas log looked so heavenly to pass up!

Especially this chocolate dipped strawberry which I lovingly picked out!

I was happy too that even if Andrei already had plates of food, my picky eater enjoyed F CAFE's leche flan and cut himself a big serving of it!

Our lunch at F CAFE was more enjoyable because of the kind and prompt service of this particular waiter. I forgot his name but he was certainly very attentive to our every need!

For dinner, my boys were all ready and dressed up... with bags.

We were supposed to have our BARBECUE NIGHTS at the Canary Lounge but because of the weather, we conveniently stayed indoors at F CAFE.

We don't really mind where we'll be eating as long as we'll be having platters upon platters of THIS!

The juicy and tangy barbecues were served with this flavorful corn salsa that had a lot of bite!

Of course, the F CAFE buffet was still available for our other dietary needs. Ha ha ha ha!

I was especially curious to try out F CAFE's Mongolian Buffet since I'm a sucker for those mixed in saucy stir fries!

While having dinner, the F CAFE servers headed by F1 HOTEL MANILA Marketing Coordinator, Mr. Paulo Esmedilla, sang happy birthday to our KTG bossman Mr.Spanky Enriquez!

Which was immediately followed by my very saucy Mongolian Barbecue!

I ordered a glass of Coke Zero to drink which was zoinked by Andrei. 

It's okay. I helped myself to a bowl of spicy yet creamy laksa as my "panulak". This was SERIOUSLY delicious!

And since I felt the night would be better with more carbs, I helped myself to some. 

The mini pastries for dessert were the perfect ending to a very "hot" dinner. Of course, coffee was in order.

The Chinese Adonis got himself a Bacardi Gold though.

I was really impressed with Andrei and how much he loved the leche flan from F CAFE!

He cut himself a very big serving of it again. I don't blame my baby because that F CAFE leche flan WAS very creamy and had the right sweetness to it. 

Just like what we have at home!!!

The next day, the kids were up early jumping on our beds. Usually we'll just wave off the little wake up call but we remember it's time for us to have breakfast yet again at F CAFE!!!!

And so we were up!

Even though it was the peak hour at breakfast, the F CAFE attendants were still able to seat us fast. Good thing because we were all hungry!

Mati proceeded to fill up his plate with breakfast goodies and his favorite runny scrambled eggs.

Andrei headed for his hot off the pan favorites!

There was also a pot filled with very decadent chocolate porridge. Hmmm... I might help myself to some of this after my itinerary of "silog", "pancakes", and whatever else out there. He he he he he!

It never hurts to have A LOT of bread in the morning too!

There was a noodle bar in F CAFE which I could include in the "agenda".

Another probable candidate are the piping-hot eggs from the omelette stations. 

The F CAFE breakfast buffet had the usual morning staples but what got my attention are their few add-ons that somehow made their spread unique.

I don't think I have ever encountered a breakfast buffet offering some Hainanese Chicken!

As well as Burger Steak with gravy!

Things got a little french with the pot of ratatouille!

Of course, my husband got plates and plates of bacon then requested to have it fried extra to a crisp!

Yep! We're straight from the bed! Nyahaaaa!!!! Please don't judge.

Plus, our VERY CRISPY bacon plate! OMIGERRRRD! Life is now complete! We had 2 plates of THIS!

To be a bit healthy, we helped ourselves to some all natural ice cold drinks.

Of course, I cannot NOT have breakfast without coffee. It would somehow be sacrilege to me. 

Yep. Hell would freeze over if that ever happens.

F CAFE'S delicious breakfast was enough to fuel up our little lord for hours of swimming. 

As for me and the Yub, we burned all the calories by sitting down and chatting. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
