It was the last day of our EPIC STAYCATION (SEE HERE and HERE) and we will be ending our wonderful weekend with our own kind of "bang" -- by eating MORE FOOD of course! Yes, you would THINK that after being gluttons for 2 days we would at least rest on a Sunday but since we were only human, we were inclined to eat.
And eat a lot we did at PHOENIX COURT in BELLEVUE MANILA!

It was not so long ago that we had an EAT ALL YOU CAN feast here (CLICK THIS, PATIS) but even if only a day had passed (yes, that IS a bit of time for us already), we were still raring to eat up delicious Chinese food that we know PHOENIX COURT could cook up!
Like I said in my previous post, PHOENIX COURT is both stylish and spacious. It is a great venue for special events where you want to feast on scrumptious Chinese food!
PHOENIX COURT also has function rooms available for your cozy little party or "dinner meetings" (aka party outside the office... he he he he).
This one is good for a party of...... sorry I lost count.
This room would be more quiet and cozy for your party of 8!
We just actually finished an early brunch from CAVIAR (SEE HERE) and we were supposedly full from all the food we had there earlier. Remember that I said SUPPOSEDLY.
But then we got to see PHOENIX COURT'S menu and we decided, heck YOLO! We better make room for this.
For you fuddy duddies... YOLO means YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. Learn it and use it since these are the new internet lingo!
Hmmmm... why is it that for some reason I would always say YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE? James Bond enthusiasts would know. Egad I'm old. Ha ha ha ha!

As complimentary appetizers, PHOENIX COURT served some steamed peanuts that were sweet to the taste.
But as much as I wanted to pop one of those peanuts in my mouth, THIS BEAUTY came along....
.... and she's holding that duck really well! Tee hee!

But yes, besides the entrance of Jane (aka The Queen of the South... :)), we were all excited at the sight of this roasted bird!
I could just imagine how fatty and crispy the skin is on this PHOENIX COURT Peking Duck (P2,200.00 - whole / P1,100.00 - half).
Aaah.... "I think that I shall never see, a poem as lovely as Peking Duck for me..."

I could already imagine myself munching on these crispy and flavorful Peking Duck skin.
But why stop there when we could always kick it up a notch by wrapping this PHOENIX COURT beauty with hoisin sauce, fresh leeks, and soft tortilla?
This is such a favorite!!! I could have 4 or 5 of these!!
After downing only 3 Peking Duck wraps (suddenly I got shy), we were served with some PHOENIX COURT's Braised Asparagus Soup with Fresh Shrimps (P180.00 - single serving).
This starter was mild but still very appetizing. The kids loved slurping on it albeit a bit too loudly for comfort. Ha ha ha ha!
Everyone loved the PHOENIX COURT Pan Fried Beef Tenderloin Chinese Style (P470.00) because it was very tender and juicy!
Even little Andrei, who is so lazy to chew, loved this because you could also slice it into shreds by just using a spoon! He he he!
The PHOENIX COURT Deep Fried Prawns with Cereal was an instant favorite as well!
The prawns were plump and juicy then covered with this appetizing cereal breading that was not too sweet unlike how it was served in other restaurants.
I'm not really a fan of Sweet and Sour anything but the PHOENIX COURT Fried Pork with Pineapple (P340.00) was something I would eat with gusto. The sauce had just the right flavors and perfectly coated the still crunchy fried strips of breaded pork. I tried getting a forkful of the saucy meat with a chunk of pineapple and onion altogether and it was OHEMGEEness!!!
Not to be left behind is the PHOENIX COURT Fish topped with crunchy garlic and swimming with special sauce!
Make sure to douse the sweet flesh of the fish with spoonfulls of that sauce then eat it with the garlic and coriander topping!
I really did not expect to like this one but LOVE it I did! That Spinach Beancurd with Crispy Mushroom (P340.00) was insane!!! I got so addicted with those mushrooms flavored with the sweet sauce. I think I wiped off my rice just by its lonesome!
I have to apologize if I show you a picture with flash but wow... You should DEFINITELY try this healthy PHOENIX COURT dish even for the mushrooms alone!!!
I was so happy that PHOENIX COURT once again served the delicious Yang Chow Fried Rice we had the the other night! Oh wow! My waistline is in trouble now!

Later on the minced duck meat (from the Peking Duck) dropped by to further encourage our gluttony!

This light tasting dessert was perfect to counter the very filling Chinese lunch that we just had!
