MR. SUNMOON (2019)

My brother celebrated his birthday recently.

And when it comes to birthdays in our household, you know the drill.

WE EAT!!!!!!!

MR. SUNMOON!!!!!!

MR. SUNMOON was formerly SUN MOON GARDEN and it's where my family always had birthday celebrations when the celebrant is craving for some Chinese food.

As in bata pa kaming lahat! There was even a time when my Dad treated his sisters from the US here then when the food came, nag-agawan and naghabulan kaming magkakapatid (it was so embarrassing for him. Ha ha ha ha ha ha!).

Their restaurant used to be in Greenhills Shoppesville but then they transferred to Club Filipino Avenue. And that's where we went to that Sunday when my brother was in the mood for our usual comfort food.

It was a full house that Sunday (with their restaurant regulars) so it's good that we made early reservations.

ROLL CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anthony and Ate Jojits!

Andrei, Rocio (eating him), Mommy, and Mati!

Kuya Jay and Karen!

The Yub and birthday boy Kuya Jon!!!!

Me and the ugly Yub!

YEHEEEEY!

Food is here!

Wasn't able to take a more "instagrammable" (yuck) pictures because my fam hates it when I take loads of photos. He he he he!

First on the table is a bowl of MR. SUNMOON Nido Soup (P250.00)!!

Thick and hot, this has always been so comforting.

But my brother's special request that day was for a large order of his favorite....

MR. SUNMOON Lomi!!!!!!!

You should try this I swear and I know you'll thank me for it.

Another family favorite -- MR. SUNMOON Crab Foo Yongt (P380.00)!

So meaty and eggy!!! He he he he! The very "malinamnam" sauce makes it more perfect with rice.

MR. SUNMOON Bamboo Shell with Black Bean sauce (P250.00)1

This was mighty good but we like the Clams more. He he he he he he!

MR. SUNMOON Fried Chili Squid (P380.00)!

ANOTHER must try!!!!

MR. SUNMOON Steamed Lapu Lapu (that was massacred before I could take a photo :(  ).

Poor Lapu Lapu....

MR. SUNMOON Fried Chicken (P520.00)!

MR. SUNMOON Sizzling Beef Tenderloin (P450.00)!

My brother purposely put his hand on the shot while the Yub was taking a picture... Huhuhu!

CHE!

This is ANOTHER family favorite and we always get it whenever we're here.

We already got a bowl of Yang Chow but since it's not enough for us, we got another order of Salted Fish Fried Rice!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the whole family in MR. SUNMOON!!!

Halaaaaa! You guys didn't save a seat for Daddy!

I'm sure Daddy would be like "Ang dadaya nyo ah! Puro kain na lang!!!!"

HE HE HE HE HE HE HE!

My bowl of rice, topped with some Lomi, and chili!!!

He he he he he....

So palatable right?

Our messy table!

Check out Andrei groaning because his tummy is so full.

After our delicious lunch, Kuya Jon treated us again to some coffee and pastries from Tim Hortons!

That chocolate eclair is SOOOOO sinful!

Sayang that Kuya Jay and family had to go already.

(Belated) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kuya Jon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for lunch and merienda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE LOOOOOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!

We love you so much that we forgot to get you a cake.

BWA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!

SO.

THERE.
