MONGKOK TREAT BY THE CHINESE D!!!

I don't want to go into all the details but the Chinese Dimpol is starting something right now and we were so thankful that we got an early blessing for it. Just goes on to show that if you work hard for something and pray at the same time, the Lord will ALWAYS work it out for the best. And with that, we believe that with our early "happiness", we should share it with our family. That's why for our Sunday lunch, we will treat my Gatdula family at a restaurant of their choice.

And since my family had simple joys and always wanted us to save, they chose the very convenient yet delicious, MONGKOK!!!

MONGKOK!

It was a Sunday and many mall goers of Power plant would always flock to MONGKOK after mass. Good thing our big group was able to secure a table pronto!

Probably because the waiters are very familiar with my Dad already. He he he he he!

ROLL CALL!

Ate Jojit and hubby Anthony!

My happy Daddy and Mommy!

Kuya Jon!

The man of the hour, Chinese Dimpol and little Andrei!

And master Mati with MEEEEH!!!!

BRACE YOURSELVES... FOOD IS HERE!

MONGKOK Century Egg and Seaweed (P180.00)!

I always order this in Chinese restaurants. Would you believe I eat it with rice????

MONGKOK Steamed Asparagus and Garlic (P180.00)!

MONGKOK Pork Siomai (P95.00)!

MONGKOK Hakaw (P110.00)!

This was always Master Mati's must-order in a Chinese restaurant. And since Andrei is secretly idolizing his Kuya, it's starting to be his favorite as well.

Another one of my favorites in MONGKOK is their Shrimp Puff (P100.00)! I'm sure it's obvious because I was only able to take a picture of it when I was about to run out of pieces.

MONGKOK Kuchay Dumplings (P90.00)!

The dimsum that I liked the least from MONGKOK is their 4 Treasure (P90,00) because of the strong flavors of the Chinese sausage. Good thing we only got 1 order of this and we were still not able to finish it. He he he he he he!

MONGKOK Shanghai Noodles (P270.00)!

Sweet and Sour Fish (P280.00)!

My Dad would always request to have the sauce on the side to maintain the crispness of the fish. This was actually a very good idea!

MONGKOK Beef with Broccoli (P280.00)!

Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs (P290.00)!

And since we're a big group, the Yub and I were confident to order Yang Chow (P220.00) because we have family to share it with!

Love MONGKOK's Yang Chow Fried Rice because each spoonful is like a complete bite of everything in the food groups! He he he he he he he!

ERICJAZ FOODIES with the little lords and my Gatdula family! We also had angel Gela join our lunch since she's very kind with the kiddies!

Busy eating!

Somebody is crabby and doesn't want to have her picture taken (as always!).

:P

My very full plate!

And we're done!

Le bill!!!!

It was another delicious and fun family Sunday lunch to have our Chinese comfort food. Thanks so muchos for the treat Chinese Dimpol! Congratulations and were so happy at how everything's working out for you now!

SO.
