EVERYTHING AT STEAK

I think I have made it very clear how much I love steak. At the same time I always mention a word or two on how "practical" (read: stingy) I could get.

Put those two together and you got what happened to us one Friday night.

After the Chinese Adonis fetched me from work, we agreed that it would nice to have some grilled meat into our system. But since we were saving right now, we thought to just try out the cheap steak restaurants out there and chose one which was really on our way home.

With that, we landed at EVERYTHING AT STEAK to satisfy our thrifty meat craving.

Did we love it? You'll see later on.

Because first I'm not sure if I have made it clear that I still love Benedict Cumberbatch up to now.

BWA HA HA HA HA! Just did.

Yep I'm the queen of quick attention span. Ha ha ha ha!

EVERYTHING AT STEAK Family Steakhouse!

On that night I remember that traffic was horrible going home so it was really a great stroke of steak luck that EVERYTHING AT STEAK branch in San Juan was on the way.

The inside of EVERYTHING AT STEAK was very casual but still cozy for a restaurant of its price range.

I spy the EVERYTHING AT STEAK kitchen right across from where I was seated. Good thing that we didn't smell like grilled petunias afterwards so I guess they have a functional ventilating system.

Oops let me correct myself... It's grilled "Jasmine". He he he he!

Time to order!

I'm so lazy to scroll up.

EVERYTHING AT STEAK menu 8.... or 9.

;P

I ordered the EVERYTHING AT STEAK T-bone steak (P225.00) with an extra order of garlic rice.

The steak was served extra hot and straight off the grill. It may be thin but it made up for it in size.

I'm not sure though if my steak was just reheated (or re-grilled... he he he). Be as it may, it still smelled so appetizing that my stomach already wanted to pop out of my belly and wolf it down fast.

That came off as gross right?

I requested for EVERYTHING AT STEAK's coleslaw as my side dish because I love everything creamy with my grilled whatevers.

Ooooh... yeah... I'm such a gravy girl. Groovy!

I think I even asked for extra gravy at this point.

Time to dig in!

Good thing that my husband did not catch my double chin.

My EVERYTHING AT STEAK order was pretty good but it was just on the sweet side.  My love for sweets is only limited to desserts and it's the flavor I like least on my entree.

So with that I remedied my "situation" by murdering further my steak: besides the hot gravy, I added a lot of hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, AND the clincher, Knorr seasoning!

BWA HA HA HA HA!

I bet the dead wagyu and kobe cows are now rolling in their graves! Tee hee!

And I bet they're all saying... "MOOO-ve".

Corny I know. But I made that up!! Ha ha ha ha!

My husband still had an ARBY'S hangover when we were in the US so he ordered EVERYTHING AT STEAK'S Roast Beef Sandwich (P155.00).

My dear Chinese Adonis was a bit surprised though that the strips of beef were thicker than what he had in ARBY'S. But of course, that's just him being his usual picky self.

The thick hot gravy that was all over Yub's sandwich was the same sweet one they gave me for my steak. My husband said it was just fine with him.

Of course at P155.00 an order, we cannot really complain!

Still, we're happy because we're together!

NAAAAAKSSSSSSS!!!!

But we should have been closey closey like that sweetiks couple at the back. Ha ha ha ha ha!

Time to eat Chinese Adonis!!

What my husband and I love with dishes that have loads of gravy is that we mop up the savory thing with our bread.

The EVERYTHING AT STEAK sandwich massacre! Please help us (ala Carlo J. Caparas). He he he he!

Done!

I seem to remember disliking the sweet taste but I had a sudden bout of amnesia at how I finished the whole thing. Tee hee!!!

Yes I may have had better cheap steaks in other restaurants but still EVERYTHING AT STEAK is cheap and near my house.  We may visit again if we're stuck in traffic. He he he he!

Plus! It's not everyday we get to eat at less than P500!!! KaCHING!

So. There.
