HANAMARUKEN RAMEN

This early on let me apologize that this blog post is waaaaaay overdue. Really! I'm scanning my photo albums deleting some of my scandalous pictures with Thor, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Robert Pattinson (????) when I encountered my date with the Chinese Adonis in HANAMARUKEN RAMEN last year!

I know! Why just now right????

I remembered that this was a superkalifragalistic delicious meal but sad to say, it was never repeated. Probably due to the opening of RAMEN NAGI, IPPUDO, TAMPOPO, or IKKORYU FUKUOKA that we never got around making a return to this Ramen house that made us ultra happy.

Well maybe it was a sign that led me to deleting those steamy pictures with Thor, Benedict, and Robert (?????!) because these pictures serve as a reminder for us to go back to HANAMARUKEN RAMEN and pig out on its awesome goodness!

Maybe it is also a sign that I shouldn't erase those pictures!! Well because if I didn't have a heart to ignore an old dinner date album with my Yubhub, surely I could still alot some space for my hot memories with my former loves.....

Tee to the Hee! Thou shall NOT always believe in what I say.

:P

HANAMARUKEN RAMEN!

It was a packed house that night in HANAMARUKEN in Trinoma but we were still so willing to wait for our turn!

Hmmm... I'm not sure seeing a cleaver is something that would "get you happy". But still, I found the novelty idea cute!

And finally we were seated!

Senora Santibanez in the house!!!!

Kidding!

The Chinese Adonis ordering up!

HANAMARUKEN menu 1....

HANAMARUKEN menu 2!!!

Yub was given complimentary hot tea by the server. This was a good drink to ease up on our hungry tummy!

The HANAMARUKEN table setting!

For some reason this reminds me of how NOMAMA does it!

Even the interiors were similar to NOMAMA!!!

Sorry for the blurry pictures but I'm sure you get an idea how cozy HANAMARUKEN is especially with the wooden walls and chairs.

The iron cages are something to take notice too!

Yub's order of HANARAMUKEN Happiness Rice Bowl (P250.00)!

I'm glad that HANARAMUKEN has alternative dishes for non-ramen weirdoes (tee hee... kidding). My husband was so happy with this mouth watering stewed pork ribs over steamed rice!

Time to dig in!

My husband loved it because he was very partial to sweet dishes! He was so hungry that night and THIS truly made him happy!

Gobble! Gobble!

I had a taste and even though I would normally hate sweet entrees, this one I could eat. The meat was crazy soft and packed with savory flavors!!! I would definitely be one satisfied customer once I finish wolfing down this baby!

As much as I wanted to help myself more with the topped rice, my attention was suddenly drawn to the glistening piping hot bowl of HANAMARUKEN Spicy Tobanjan Ramen (P300.00)!

Any way you look at it, that's one HOT bowl of Ramen!

ERICJAZ FOODIES in HANAMARUKEN (last year)!!!!!!!!!!!

The soup of my Ramen were not as creamy as Tonkotsu broth but still it was mighty tasty!

The noodles were thin but still extra chewy to the bite! Just the way I like it!

Time to slurp me some HANAMARUKEN Ramen!

Open wide!

Hmmm... I really don't look good when I eat.

My husband's view, 24/7!!!

Yub got some of my HANAMARUKEN ramen and was very "demure" about it! He he he he he!

When I saw my big bowl of Ramen, I thought that I would be slurping on a lotta of soup. It turns out, there were more noodles than I expected!!! I guess it was lurking under the rich broth ready to pleasantly surprise its next diner!

The green onions added a delightful crunch and flavor to my noodles!

In no time, Yub's Happiness bowl is an almost empty one!

Burp!

Mine too!

Or so I thought! I still have that small puddle of soup that I am determined to wipe out.

Sluuuuurp!

DONE!

Our bill!

That was certainly an awesome dinner! Even if this was actually last year, I consider seeing the album as a sign that we should schedule a return pronto.

I hope I don't need to see those scandalous pictures to remind me though.

Or maybe I do.

Sorry it's late. I'm getting delusional again.

He he he he he he he!

SO. THERE!
